American Watch Co. Joe Avicasis Sent wrong order/Promised to refund if returned boxes/Refused to refund or honor promise Los Angeles, California

Placed an internet order with this company, American Watch Co./ MTM/ Special Ops Watch. This merchant sent me two boxes- one contained a watch case but no watch; the other box contained a watch that I didn't order. I immediately notified the merchant of the issues, they accepted full responsibility for the series of errors, and promised a full/immediate refund if I returned both boxes back to them. They also promised to refund my cost for return shipping. Copies of these emails are available. I returned the boxes, merchant received them, then refused to refund my money for the order or the money for the return shipping. They are now slow to even respond to emails. In speaking to Federal express after the fact, the merchant has now also voided the possibility for any claims to be filed by them because they insisted I return the boxes back to their custody and possession. They completely lied and manipulated this situation to cover up their errors and avoid refunding my money. In other words, they flat out stole my money. BEWARE!!!
