I use to work for the company! They have changed their name several times due to the scam they were doing. I was given the inside reasons for the name changes. They claimed they were bought out several times but in reality people were catching on to their scheme, so they had to dodge the attention. This was told to me by someone who has been working there for 7 years. Everyone sits in a small room. Each person has a computer and a headset that pulls up telephone numbers and addresses and the computer automatically dials the number for the rep. There's a script that we had to read to each and every person we call. After the script we set the person up with a package. After the package is set we send the calls up to a "lead" or as they would say supervisor. After that the call is out of my hands. After doing some ease dropping on one of the "leads" call i overheard how they would be billing the customers and it made completely no sense. For each person there was a different price and i wasnt understanding why especially after the script says that they would be charged 18.70 a month for 5 magazines. Just about everyone in that building has a felony. LOOK AT WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION!!! CRIMINALS!!! This company had a horrible way of getting new reps. No Background Check, and No Drug Test. The sales reps have no access to these peoples information except their name and address. THE LEADS ARE COMMITTING THIS SCAM. I have the direct line to the manager her name is Kellie the number her direct line is 770 889 6933 EXT 1050 she or someone will answer this line.... And if you think this is a joke i have her direct cell phone number 770 276 5152 since she harasses you all call her and harass her... GET YOUR MONEY BACK DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE PUBLISHERS. THAT IS THE NAME THEY GO BY IN THE SCRIPT!!!!! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE RESPOND THERE'S A LOT MORE BUT TOO MUCH TO WRITE I AM HERE TO HELP IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. I HAD TO QUIT THIS JOB ITS A SHAME AND ITS PITIFUL TO STEALS SOMEONES HARD EARNED MONEY!

They called me today, that Kim woman and some other employee, they did that fast talking crap and at first I thought they may have been offering free subscriptions, because I do take part in surveys online and they surveys and advertisements I complete and participate in, they give me special offers. But North Atlanta Magazines was NOT one of them. The first woman that called me kept asking if I received these magazines, she had my address wrong in the first place, and she kept insisting I subscribed to them when I asked her where they got my information. After I gave her my debit card # because she had me convinced I had an offer set up with them she and Kim were quick to want me to pay today, luckily I only have 17 dollars on my card but I'm going to contact them and my bank. I tried calling back, and another woman answers and says because my order is not in the system I have to talk to Kim and she was going to redirect me to her. I told her that wasn't necessary just have her or when my order is in their system, cancel it. They say the calls are monitored so they should have me on audio giving them permission to cancel this order. And hopefully my bank can stop or block their access to my account. They plan on taking 72 dollars out of my account Tuesday and I'm not trying to have that happen. I receive unemployment, but I'm not going to claim it this week on my Bank of America card, luckily I have another prepaid debit card, I'll just have my unemployment office switch my pay over to that card so those people can't get the money. Then I'll have bank of America send me a new card.

Funny thing, I worked for a scam magazine company called Chapel Sales back in 2007/2008 for 7 months, they changed their named to Millennium sales and I'm sure it was because many people reported them online as a scam and i wouldn't be surprised if they changed it again. I had no idea they were ripping people off til one woman I sold a book to sent me an email telling me she didn't receive her book( I gave her my email address). I felt bad, and when I told my supervisor, she basically says the same things the people with the 1 800 numbers say, it's going to take a while, or their order wasn't in the system yet, then if customers keep calling, they just don't answer the number, or have the numbers changed. i believe the people who do get their orders are people who threaten the company enough for them to send them what they paid for. Now the company I worked for had us going door to door in different local areas in big cities with nothing but a wallet looking type folder, with receipts and a pin as well as some kinder garden looking booklet listing all the books and magazines they supposedly have. See me, I immediate look up names of companies and see if there are contact numbers or a legit website. And you even have to do more research than that. Companies like this make me paranoid to buy anything overseas, because it is almost hard to keep up with these scammers here. They always choose people from states far from the state their office is in. And by the time they leave that state(the workers that do the selling) that's around the time customers are supposed to start receiving their purchases and most of them don't.
