Beachwood Hair Clinic PRP Posted $4,000 Charge When I Had NOTHING Done Beachwood, Ohio

After seeing an ad in The Plain Dealer, I made an appointment for a free consultation with Tiffany Masiello-Helt about PRP therapy. She said it's a one-time procedure that is FDA approved as a hair loss treatment. It sounded miraculous, but neither of those claims is true! (Do your homework.) There was lots of pressure to schedule the procedure, but I said that I wanted to research it with my husband. She convinced me to fill out a credit application with Chase Health Advance so I would be pre-approved when I decided to have the procedure. (Stupid, naive me. Now I know why she wanted the application completed that day. She knew that I'd never be back.) It took only minutes on the internet to discover that her claims were bogus. Within an hour of leaving her office, I called and e-mailed with instructions to destroy the credit application. Several weeks later, I received a statement from Chase Health Advance. Beachwood Hair Clinic posted a charge of $4,000!!! Now no one will respond to phone messages, faxes, or e-mails. A dispute form filed with Chase resulted in a mere $2,000 credit. So I'm being billed $2,000 for a "FREE" consultation. My next step is to file a claim in Shaker Hts. Municipal Court. (This is where you'll need to go when you want to sue them.) I will find what additional steps can be taken to help other vulnerable people avoid this scam.
