|Bed Pros, Inc. Lied, Misrepresented their |

|1/2/11 My wife and I went to Mattress Pros on Dale Mabry Hwy In Tampa, Fl to purchase a mattress. We were told that the "Thermapedic Bodywrap Visco Serenity" model was among their most highly rated units which had been developed with scientific sleep rating technology and had individually wrapped high quantity and quality inner springs. We were told that this mattress came with an unconditional 15 year warrantee. |
Among other things, we were told that the mattress retails for 1200.00 but because of a special promotion going on we could have it for 1/2 price with full warrantee. We were also promised a no questions aked return policy for 30 days. Our salesman was a fast talking slob named Jamie Feldcamp who claimed to be the store manager. Our mattress was delivered 2 days later and we immediatley noticed that the mattress was losing its stitching at almost every stichpoint. i asked the delivery driver what was going on and he told us that all of the mattresses that are manufactured by Regal Mattress co. of Orlando, Fl. do the same thing.
Our delivery driver also told us that the mattresses were of poor quality and Bed Pros has been aware of it for some time. I later looked at similar mattresses in the Palm harbor store and saw that they were all losing their stitching.
This same driver mentioned that he was being asked to pick the mattresses up almost as fast as they were delivering them.
I remembered the salesmans promises so I figured I would call the store and have ours replaced. We slept on our mattress for two days and it developed a hump in the middle and the sides broke down making it feel as if I was going to roll out of bed onto the floor.
My wife called our salesman, Jamie feldcamp who was unbeleivably rude and told us that his company did NOT offer cash refunds, only what they call "comfort exchanges. I told him this was not what we were told at time of purchase and that we did not want another defective mattress. He offered us an overpriced upgrade which we told him we could get cheaper elsewhere.
At this point he became mouthy and rude telling us to "enjoy our mattress" Then hung up in my ear.
I called citibank and reversed the payment then called Jamie to ask him once again to pick up his mattress because we will not pay for it and he stated "we will see about that" once again hanging up on me. Run from these guys. DO NOT SHOP AT ANY BED PRO STORE. scam. DO NOT BUY ANY MATTRESS MARKED "REGAL, THERMAPEDIC, or BODYWRAP VISCO.
|I got my new mattress at the Bed Pros store in South Tampa and I couldn’t be happier with it the manager Jamie was great he explained everything in detail he knew everything there was to know about mattresses he even joked about knowing more about mattresses than anyone should and he wasn’t kidding we went to six stores and nobody knew a quarter of what he did. You could tell he was a true professional he was friendly, knowledgeable, and he wasn’t high pressure and didn’t act like a car salesman. My wife and I both have bad backs and I sleep very hot after listening to us he recommended a few beds and we picked the Simmons NXG 600 with cool gel. I have never slept better or cooler in my entire life. Thank You Jamie and Bed Pros|
|I had actually bought the same exact mattress last month, Therapedic Body Wrap. My back has been killing me! I just went on the internet to see what kind of reviews this mattress had. I wasn't impressed. There were none. Today I went back to another Bed Pro. The salesman said another store had given me a better price than what he had originally quoted me. He said something about comfort exchages and told me I'd have to spend a lot of money to get what I needed in another bed to replace this Thermapedic Body Wrap. It has been horrible! My neck and back are killing me. This is a scam! I will not do business with Bed Pro again.|
They had me buying a memory foam topper for over $400.00! I went online and found a better one for nearly $250.00 cheaper!
Not impressed with their company or sales people! Scavengers!!!
|I got my new mattress at the Bed Pros store in South Tampa on N. Dale Mabry Hwy. on 7/18/2011.The Manager Wade is a complete DOPE! and does not no how to handle customers. We had our new Latex Bliss Mattress delievered and the STUPID delivery guy's scratched or I should say gouged my cherry floor with a 22 inch cross grain scratch. Me and the guy heard the the staples on the box cut my floor. He said oops sorry, I said I wish I could say it's ok, but it's NOT. I noted the reciept in large letters and called the store and e-mailed pic's when they left, The stupid moron so called Manager, WADE said, we typically get an estimate and only pay 1/2, my reply NO WAY I didn't do it you did. I was told because I didn't tell then I have double doors on my house and they couldn't get in in unless they dragged it. And they said I wanted it the box, the dilevery guy's told me they had to keep it in the box because it was a latex mattress and without the box it would fold like jelly without the box.I have been calling for the fax number as they told me to fax the estimate, and keep giving me the run around. I asked for the coorporate office and I was told 2 men own the co. and they don't have an office they work from their house and if they give me the number they will get in trouble.WHAT kind of RINKEY DINK Co. is this?? I have been asking who their insurance co is and they won't say.After numerous calls I finally spoke to someone by the name Tina and she was acting RUDE like it was my falt because I had a hanging lamp above my door and I should have cleared the way for the delivery driver, and I should have told the delivery driver to use the second door, like it's my job to tell them how to do their jobs, I don't work thier or it's not my job. My ceilings are 9 foot tall.She is a dumb bell too! If she saw my house she would feel stupid too!! They are taking advantage of a senior citizen. |
SO ALL I CAN SAY IS DON'T BUY A MATTRESS FROM BED PRO'S AND YOU WON'T HAVE A PROBLEM, BUYER BeWARE!!! TODAY IS AUG 10TH and not happy!!!
|Bed Bugs. My bed had bugs in it. I reported this as soon as I started getting bitten, under 60 days. The rude sales associate told me to google the problem, it's not their problem and i picked them up in some trashy place. If that was so, why are they not on any other furniture or beds I sleep on? The company is rude and I intend on contacting ABC Action News.|
|I have spoken to Bulled and tried to help her. The low doors, hanging light and full hallways contributed to the delivery complication. I have given her the Office fax number and asked her to send a quote for repairs.|
|I wish I had googled "thermapedic bodywrap visco" mattress prior to purchasing. We purchased this mattress from Bed Pro and used for less than 4 months (the four months were spread over two years since we are seasonal residents). The bed developed two depressions in just a few months--how disappointing! It appears our only option is to complain and try to prevent others from making the same mistake. Are these dealers in Florida because it's a winter haven for seniors? I like the idea of contacting reporters to investigate.|
