Telephone technician misdiagnosed my problem. Dispatched a service call because he said their "switch" was bad. Told me it would take 3 days to get tech to my house. Did not advise me that there would be a service charge of $85.00 (which is outrageous for any cable company) In the mean time I fixed the problem myself but It was due to their equiptment. I bought my own router to fix the problem. I thought the old router was theirs so I had the tech come to my house anyway to get a new company supplied router. I was told after 90 days I own the router, so they charged me 85.00 to basically do nothing. I appealed to their management and was told too bad you have to pay the service. I would not pay it so they threatened to disconnect my Video, internet and phone. I cancelled my phone and now use my cell with wireless router supplied by Verizon and saved myself $20.00 Per Month. Thus they got thier 85.00 but lost 360.00 in phone fees they would have gotten had they cancelled the 85.00 charge. How stupid can a business be. They basically have a monopoly in our subdivision because the banrupt builder signed a sweetheart deal to get money from US. No other cable company will come in here because the fees are included in HOA. Also I am cancelling their video service as soon as I can arrange for a Dish. Then I am going to cancel my internet and use a hot spot router. This will save me about 25.00 per month. Anyone faced with moving into a subdivision that only offers cable, internet and phone from "Beyond Communications" Don't do it. They will lie and cheat you just like they did me. They have poor equiptment and non-existent customer service. I am writing to the BBB, Az dept of utilities and the Attourney General to shine the light on their ineptness. Hopefully they can look into this monopoly. Beyond Communications-----Don't ever use them.

I am dealing with this company as well. I am filing complaints with the AG in MI and in AL where they are located. They are overcharged. I tried disputing a bill and they suspened my service. I had ther install tech cancel 8-10 times. It's like pulling teeth to get a credit that they owe. The customer service is rude, they disconnect calls, supervisors are always on escalted call which means there are a lot of angry customers. Primcast and Beyond Communications are the same company. You are forced to deal with this company if they have a deal with your HOA or community. Dish network told me it was awful what they were doing. I complained with AL BBB. I am complaing with my communtity manager and they have rep that is getting involved now, I was told the other day to restore my services which I have only had for two months would cost the past due which I was disputing, next month, a restoration fee and a security deposit. The total would be nearly $900. I just have dish. If I was able to have dish I could get service for $59.99 they are charging me $144.98. They do it because they can and I have no other options for service in my area. There prices change. I had someone call to see what the price was just two days ago and it was $15 higher. STAY AWAY from BEYOND Communications and PRIMECAST!! They will cause you nothing but stress and headaches. Tell your HOA and communities to get them OUT!!! Join in and complain if you are being treated poorly too.

Couldn't agree more, my HOA has them for our building and they are terrible, their customer service is attrocious, they are rude, dismissive and don't care because they know they have a monopoly with the building. One of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I am reporting them to the BBB and posting on Facebook, Twitter, and all other social media. Their billing practice is unethical, and they are way overpriced.

I too live in a community contracted with Beyond Communications and for over 6 years have been dealing with their poor service. I am going through all the same issues. Years ago I canceled my phone service and switched to cell phones only. Months ago I canceled the internet and got a sprint hotspot w/ 4g :) because of the issues with their router. cheap! They either charged me 85 to come out and replace or a 20 monthly assurance plan to come out for "nonservice related calls" Until this day they have not been able to tell me what is a "service related call". I was without service for 2 months and they were still billing me for it. Finally I gave up and said forget it dont fix it just cancel it.. Of course they billed me for canceling my service.. keep in mind I never signed a contract. They billed me for the envelope to ship back the damaged router and they billed me for the label. With all of the internet issues and being charged without service I of course rightfully disputed over and over, requesting a supervisor. So when my new bill was due on the 14th I called on the 12th to see if it the charges had been adjusted to show my credit... no it wasnt and my services were disconnected on the 13th one day before my bill was due. Now my husband wants cable back on because of the NBA and i don't know what to do. I hate dealing with them and DishNetwork and Directv will not touch the property. They say they are forbidden to provide services to my address. My manger says its not in her hands... How do I contact someone that can help? What is the BBB

oh and by the way I live in palm springs, ca and receive the programming from the east coast. Of course cant expect anything else from them. I've heard about contacting the Public utilities commission? maybe even Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC

On 01/06/12 I received my bill, as a new client, for internet service. I'd noticed there was an additional "trip charge" of $85 added that was never mentioned beforehand. I was assured that installation, and since I'm using MY OWN equipment, was going to completely free and I'd only be billed the $19.99/mo (+taxes). I called to see what this "trip charge" was and it was explained to me that I owed them because the installer was at my residence earlier that day and I didn't answer the door. I was home the whole time. Apparently he "knocked" on my door, however, I didn't hear him. He left a paper hanger on my door, I called them back, they resent him, and an hour later, I now have their internet.

Fast forward two months when I finally get a bill; I have listed all of the calls from ONE PHONE'S USE to resolve this issue. Every time I call, I get the same thing; "A supervisor will call you back within 24-48 hours.". They NEVER CALL. I've even given them 3 different phone numbers with which to reach us; not one call from them even though they CLAIM that they have called a number of times, up to, and including, reading off numbers that I've VERIFIED WITH THE REPS before hanging up, only to have them say the called some misunderstood number I'd supposedly given them.

Now, they've cut off our service and they are telling us that we are now responsible for 2 months of internet, this "trip charge", and late fees for non-payment, when I'VE BEEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AND GLADLY PAY THEM! Tey are telling me now that I'd have to pay all charges due PLUS A $25 RECONNECT FEE, and, if the "supervisor" decide to remove the fees, I MAY get them back.

These fees are:
Internet - $19.99 (x2)
"Trip Charge" - $85
Late Fees - $25 (x2)
My total bill NOW - $144.19 (+$25)

This company is a ripoff, I live in the NeoVertika in Miami, and they have monopoly here. They're the biggest scammers ever and so is the management office in this building ! Why the hell did they sign with this shitty company ? Why are they charging $95 for basic dish network while it costs $30 ??.. ah and we also got to pay for the internet... $70 / for fake 15 mbits...

I cancelled the cable, it doesn't worth it... But i'd like to understand how a company like this is not out of business yet... Why is there no regulation ? Is it even legal to over charge like this ?

It took EXACTLY 5 WEEKS to resolve this issue!

They did my desired resolution, however, only AFTER I registered a complaint with the BBB. It's amazing how after I registered a complaint that they miraculously called me back the NEXT DAY kissing my ass and promising they would be prompt in handling my issue(s), and 3 different people called me regarding it within 2 days (whereas no one bothered to call me beforehand, as I've shown), however, it STILL took a week for them to actually do their credits and fair use ...

Well, obviously I'm back online; GEE, THANKS, BEYOND COMMUNICATIONS!

People,

"Beyond Communications" does not exist. It is not a real company. It is part of a shell game, the company that defrauded you is Connexion Technologies located in Cary, NC. Connexion is laying off basically of their employees.

Connexion Technologies / Beyond Communications / PrimeCast / Capital Broadband are all sides of the same coin. This was literally a shell game perpetuated on customers and investors.

Run from these firms as fast as you can!
