I got the same e-mail recently. I played it smart and looked up the e-mail address. It gave me several different links telling me that it is a scam. That is how I came upon this comment. Always check anything out, e-mail addresses etc. I copy and paste messsages like that into my browser and it lets me know the same letter was recieved by different people as scams.

look out for a new scam involing green dot, com where this site is promising you 500 credit limit if you appy for the card the card will show up on greendot as acard for you but greendot says that they cant protect you again this scam so i advize that you completely stay away from prepaid cards because you never know who is getting a card made in your name and cant protect u from being jacked all your money when u apply it to a card
