On Thursday May 5, I called the company to have a baby boy gift package for $59.99 plus tax delivered to my sister in the birthing unit at a hospital in Ontario. I was informed that the package will be delivered the same day as per their same day delivery system noted online that I opted for. When I completed the order form, I gave my sister's name, room number, phone number for the room and said I should be called if there is a problem. I called the company later in the evening to see if the package had been delivered and I was told it was. I then called my sister at 10pm ON time and she said she never received the package, as well, the nurse in the birthing unit said they never received anything. On May 6 at 12pm (9am my time in B.C), I called the gift shop at the hospital to see if they received the package and they did not. I then called the company and I was now told that the delivery man said the hospital said my sister was discharged. I never received any notification of the failure to deliver the package and only found out when I called the company at noon to inquire. I then gave them my sister's address and said please mail it here since she will be discharged. If no one answers, leave it on the front porch. At 7:15pm ON time, I called to see if the package was delivered as the company's website said call after 7pm to confirm delivery. The representative told me that she does not have confirmation. I told her I was getting nervous that it won't arrive and wanted to know about refunds and she stated "there is no reason why the package won't be delivered today, we have been around for years, stop worrying so much and call tomorrow to see if it has been delivered". On May 7, I called my sister at 11am and she told me that it had not been delivered. I then decided to call the company and speak to the manager for a refund. I called and the owner answered. He told me that he does not know if the package has been delivered and he will find out after 6pm so I should call then. I was letting him know of the situation and the fact that this is poor customer service in a respectable manner however, the owner stated "look, I will not talk to you if you are yelling (of which I was not), call back after 6pm" and hung up on me. I called him back to try to discuss this and he stated "I will not talk to someone soobnoxious, it's Mother's day weekend and we are busy, the package will come" and hung up on me before i can explain that I am completely dissatisfied with the customer service and wanted a refund. Their website states under the section Guarantee: "We stand behind our products 100%. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us within 48hrs and let us know". I had tried and was disrespected and was hung up on. the package finally arrived and it was 100% NOT what i ordered. it was not the same gift at all, not one bit of it. although it states on the website that products may be different, nothing was the same and i was not told that they do not have it in stock so that i could choose something else. what the sent me was worth maybe $25-30 bucks, not the $77 i paid. it was some wool knit and personally i think someone made it or they bought it at value village. i was completely ripped off and completely disrespected as a customer. i have never EVER in my life received such poor curtomer service. the company IMHO is a sham and a scam and if you look them up on the Better Business Bureaux, they are rated F and have gone under numerous names before. they have also had several complaints. Buyer BEWARE!!! there has to be a way to prevent people like this from opening new companies in different names, yet still ripping off consumers time after time. I think they need to start requiring SIN for provincially run companies to track them. They need to be stopped!!

I couldn't agree more! Try to resolve a dispute with this 'company' and you will get nowhere. They do not reply to emails, they have put the phone down on me twice. They obviously feel they are above the law and certainly have NO IDEA what customer service is all about. I am disgusted with them. STAY AWAY from using this company - they need to be closed.
