Body Women Only Inc Did not cancel my membership and billed me for over 2 years Studio City, California

Body Women Only is a pretty pricey GYM compaired to other GYMs in the area. The GYM itself is not bad, however, their staff and the way they treat customers is horrible. They are quick to sign you up and get you rolling, however, they don't handle cancellations with the same speed. I cancelled my membership in early 2009 and they still, until December 2012 claim that they do not have a record of the cancellation. What caught me off guard is the way they bill monthly, there a company called ASF International, that debits customer accounts for the membership. I did not pay attention to the charge for over 2 years because I thought it was one of my student loans. I happen to have student loans which are AES and ACS, so I for years due to my ignorance let the charge go through. When I finally realized the error, I stopped the charge on my account and called ASF International. The company is just brutal, they will not stop sending a bill UNLESS Body Women Only sends a request. When I called Body Women Only, Wendy, the accounts manager basically labeled me a LIAR and said she has not received a cancellation from me. I dont have any proof, so that allows them to justify their charges, I guess the fact that I have not set foot in the GYM for over 2 years is not proof. Wendy says there are many people who pay for memberships and do not go to the GYM. I guess there are many affluent people who can afford to pay $50 a month for a service that they will never use. That sounds like logic that makes sense. Thanks Wendy. I wonder how you justify your moral values. We know you can't help but be biased because you work for the GYM, but at least have some sort of values and understand the person. Not everything is about money. Your GYM will survive even if it refunds my membership amount paid for the last 2 years.
