I hired Bruce to do legal work for my company and he seemed to be a very repsectful lawyer and told me I needed to give him a retainer of $10,000 which I did. I just needed some basic advice and Bruce managed to rip right through my $10,000 faster than anyone could imagine. Not only that he sent me an additional bill exceeding $15,000. I scoured over the bills as you cold imagine trying to figure oout what he could have possibly spent $25,729 on and he was billing me for a 1.5 hour phone call here and a 3 hour phone call there. I absolutely know I never spent more than 20 minutes speaking on the phone with him at any given time. Then I saw where he was charging me for his calls to other lawyers to get answers to questions he obviously didn't have the answers to and had the nerve to charge me for those calls too. Once I retained him he told me he would be in my area and wanted to take me to lunch, I obliged. BIG mistake! Not only did I pay for the entire lunch, he billed me for the time he spent eating with me. I've worked with a lot of lawyers in my day but this guy takes the cake times ten. When I confronted his billing practices he said in the most offensive way "go ahead and don't pay it, I love suing a$$holes like you." I couldn't imagnine this was the same guy that I first met, talk about dual personalities OR just a great con, I'd imagine the latter. Guess what I did? Bent over and took it where it hurts, I mean how do you fight a guy like that? If you're looking for a good lawyer, do yourself a favor and avoid this guy like the plague, he will DEFINITELY steal your money and laugh at you when you ask him where it went. Very disspointed

I have to agree. This guy is a full time scam. He is widely know for tricking companies to call him back and then suing them for calling him while on the Do Not call List. Its pretty pathetic but I am sure very lucrative. Big companies do not have the time to fight little guys (because that's what he is). So we just settle quickly. I hope he's been disbarred already.
