I entered ths show room of Carousel Nissan and was met by a Salesman. I told him I was looking for a late model used car with low miles for around $10,000. He informed me that they didnt have anything that cheap except one with 190,000 miles on it. We talked a little bit and he said we do have a 2002 Saturn for around $5000 with 91,000 miles. I thought cant hurt to look. I was so impressed about the good condition I decided to take it for a drive. As we rode I mentioned I loved the car but was a little put off by the miles. I was assured all used cars on the lot are inspected and seviced by the service dept. I was also told this by the sales manager and was shown some pint outs about the car that I was suposed to get to take with me but they vanished. I thought since Im on a tiny fixed income mybee this would be a smarter purchace. We aggreed on a price and I was on my way. 10 days pass and the engine started rattling. I stopped and it was 2-1/2 quarts low on oil. I had driven it a total of about 200 miles. I returned to Carousel to report what happened thinking they would yhelp me out. Maybe at least have it looked at. As soon as I opened my the sales manager went off screaming how I bought that car AS IS and they hadn't touched it. Well which is it did they inspect it or not touch it. So now I am out 6 months income have no car, cant afford another or afford to repair this one.
