I have been interested in learning about computers for some time because of job opportunities if you have the right credentials. This is what prompted my interest in taking an e-learning course or courses to get the right credentials. I had received calls from CBT Direct for a couple of years before I enrolled in the A+ course which was suggested that I take to get started. When I got a desktop computer, I again received a call from this company and they convinced me that I should take this course which was only $1000. So I went ahead and financed it with Care Credit and GE Money Bankt o make payments on until paid off. I started on the first part of the A+ course and finally felt comfident enough to sign up to take the first part in an attempt to receive the certification. But I failed the test. I called CBT to express my frustration in studying for year and not being able to pass the exam. They called me back and offered me to have access to their library for another $600 and I accepted putting it on another credit card because I couldn't refinance with the same company. So I put it on my Discover Card. I was never aware that this might be some kind of scam or I woud never have enrolled.
