Choice Home Warranty CHW SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! They scam policy holders and service providers ! Edison, New Jersey

This company is a scam! They look for any reason to deny repairs to their policy holders and refuse to pay their service providers! I was a service provider for CHW and getting paid by them was like pulling teeth. It took several months to get paid for work that was completed...I was told many different excuses when I called for payment, everything from "the check is in the mail" to "we never received a completed work order so you need to resend it and wait for payment". At one point they stopped all payments until we signed a new contract with them that obligates us to the laws of New Jersey...meaning, if we want to take any legal action againts them we have to do it in New Jersey. By the end they owed us over $7000 in unpaid work that was completed. When my attorney called them he was instantly transferred to their collections department which tells me that this is the norm for them and its just how they do business.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! There are many other warranty companys out there that actually care about their customers and service providers... THIS COMPANY IS NOT ONE OF THEM!
