I Hired chris to fix a 1/2 inch x 2 inch spot on the roof of my customers car and he promised up and down he could fix it no problem. be done in one day. he came by to fix it and couldnt. he made it worse. my customer let him take the car to his paint booth to repaint the roof. turns out he doesnt have a booth at all. he did it on his carport. 3 days late and with a nasty attitude he gave the car back. said he had to sand down the roof cause there was bondo work done. the job is terrible. the roof as a whole looks like crap now, there is over spray everywhere in the car. there are bumps in the paint due to not spraying it in a paint booth- ie dust under the paint. I also paid him for the paint already- $260 total. then he calls me and I quote " your customers wouldnt pay me, so f*** your $260, f*** your customer and f*** you! and if I see you around here I'lll beat your f***ing face in." that messege is still on my voice mail. he is also come to find out-- on felony probation. |

The customer wanted it completed quickly and was unwilling to give me the time needed with the car. He was unwilling to pay for the needed supplies and I ended up being out money. The man who hired me paid for the supplies and thus he did not get reimbursed for the supplies he purchased since the man no longer wanted to pay. I regret being taken in by this man and giving him a break since he was older and I thought I could trust him to pay. When I returned the car he at first said it looked fine and changed his mind when I told him what he owed me. I will be seeking legal compensation if he continues to harass me and post things that are untrue and unsupported on the internet. He is not the first person I have done work for but he is the first to not want to pay and try to use me as a cop out. I completed the work that I was ask to do. I feel I did that job that I was asked to do with what I had to work with. |
