These companies are all owned or run by the same couple, and from August 2009 to mid December 2010 they managed rental of our lakehome.
In Dec. 2010 they emailed us CS Properties was dropping us as clients, siting that we were advertising on a site which conflicted with theirs, and it gave us unfair advantage over the other owner. Yet 2 of those other owner not only advertise but maintain their own indepentant websites which do not link to cabinsonlakewhitney. And I referred all 5 of our responders to them, and they booked none of them in my home, but did in their own & another owners. I had told one of them we were advertising to boost our bookings, mid June. So it should not have been any surprise to them. So They dropped us, in fact, after reading the email I checked the main website and we were not there! Our problem is they continue to maintain the individual site that was part of our contract with them to draw potential clients from our new site. Complete with a picture of myself, and both interior & exterior photos of our home and complete directions directly to our home. If you click on the contact us button it lead you to the site where we aren't shown. This is clearly deceptive and fraudilent, we are the sole owners. They chose to cancel our contract, so why can't I get them to remove all links to them with my homes name pictures & maps.
They have not maintained the same on 2 other homes they no longer represent, why mine?
My advice to other owners who are thinking of using them on there home is DON'T. Their new contract should be looked over by an attorney first. Oh and damage deposit didn't help us when one of our guest ruined our fridge, you will get tire of hearing "it's the cost of doing business" or "guest that get charged don't come back" and forget maximum guest..even when they are told too many ppl are staying they do nothing.
