DigiExpress DigiExpress.com Shipped damaged IPod back after repair and won't fix it, Internet

I sent my IPod to DigiExpress for earphone socket repair. They advertised a 1 week turnaround and the price was OK. They shipped it back in an undamaged box with a few weeks delay claiming that they are unusually busy. I opened the box and found a screen protector sticker holding the screen down. After careful removal of the sticker the screen popped out of the IPod housing. I noticed that the screen was cracked and that the housing was slightly bent. I could not even try whether they repaired the jack. The IPod is basically ruined. I immediately contacted DigiExpress and sent them photographs. They promised to make it RIGHT. Unfortunately, now they deny any responsibility and want over $100 to fix the damage. They have the IPod now. My repeated requests are met with the same answer. It has been 2 months since I originally sent my IPod for repair and I still have nothing; just the headache of dealing with DigiExpress.
My guess is that they were so busy that they cut some corners. Perhaps hired some untrained people.
Bottom line is that they destroyed my IPod and won't replace/fix it.
