Dish Network Difficult to cancel service, Internet

I called 800-333-3474, the number on my monthly bill, this morning at 9:55 am CMT to cancel my service. After taking my information the agent began the upsell. I repeatedly told him I only wanted to cancel my service. I didn't want more channels, I didn't want to save $300 a year. I didn't want their internet service. I certainly didn't want their home security monitoring service. I only want to cancel my service. I was told he could not cancel my service. I asked what number would I call to cancel. He told me he could not give me that information. Then he told me I had dialed a wrong number. My phone displays the numbers I dial. I called from my office and all incoming and outgoing calls are recorded. I googled and called 888-232-8689 at 10:01 CMT, spoke to #5G8 and was told my service was cancelled effective immediately. Boxes would be shipped to me today to return the items. I also relayed the above information to that individual. I have copied both calls and am forwarding them to John Suthers, Colorado State Attorney General. dish said that it was my computer that was messed up but when i take it anywhere but home its fine dish is an evil internet provider
