On 11-26-2011 while shopping on amazon and looking for a color wi-fi tablet for my son. I was re-directed to eglobalelectronics.com They had a Android 2.2 Wi-Fi touch screen tablet with camera on sale for $79.99. My son has been saving all of his grass cutting and birthday money to buy this one item. I ordered it for him. Free shipping 3-5 days delivery. On Dec. 06, 2011 I received a phone call from eglobalelectronics stating that they were getting ready to ship my order, however the battery that comes with the unit only lasts 20 minute. They asked if I would like to upgrade for $29.95. I asked them to cancel my order I was no longer interested. The agent now said that he would upgrade the battery free of charge. I said no thanks, thinking whats wrong with this picture. He informed me that I would be charged 25% for cancelation, and 25% handling fee. I demanded to talk to a supervisor. After 33 minute wait some snotty kid named Brian got on the phone talking very fast. End result was I would get the Panditigal 7" tablet, upgraded battery and one year warranty for $88.00. I agreed. On Dec. 09, 2011 I received a package from eglobal, there was a hole punched in the center of the package. I opened the package and the MID tablet, which was scratched up and the screen shattered. Looked like someone took a screw driver to it. There was no battery,and the wrong brand tablet. I contacted eblobalelectronics and informed them of the situation. I was told that it was my problem, and I should have insured it through the post office. They went on to state that if I pay for the shipping both ways, pay for the repairs, they would see what they could do. Is there no justice in the world?
