My story starts off with me and my boyfriend online looking for netbooks for Christmas. I told him to go to kmart or walmart.com since they always process our orders easily and they are trustworthy. All of our products we odered for Christmas came on time and in good condition. Well, he saw an ad online for cheap netbooks. The one advertised was pink and it was cute. We looked at the website and it said 'MCAFEE secure' so against my better judgment, I let him order a pink netbook on there, complete with the shipping insurance.

After a week, I still hadn't received my netbook although I paid for shipping to be within 5-7 days. I didn't understand why all my other packages from other merchants (target, old navy, walmart)had arrived except for this one. I looked online for the website to track my order but their order tracking tool said my item was 'unshipped'. I thought this was odd because most of the time reputable merchants send you an email or call you when your order is out of stock or delayed in any way.(for example I have an email from toysrus.com that says my itemwas out of stock and I would be notified as soon as it arrived in stock) I was getting nervous so I googled the company. I was shocked by what I saw. SCAM came up as soon as I typed in the words eglobalwireless. I wasangry and I knew from then on it would be a battle to get my money back or my netbook.

Meanwhile I was reading on complaintsboard.com about stories of people who tried to contact eglobalwireless and their voicemailbox was full, they couldn't get in touch with them, and when the product arrived, it wasnt what it said it would be. It was 'refurbished' (used) and shoddy. Also, many people claimed that their product wasn't in good working order and they had to pay out of their own pocket to get the laptop fixed by sending it back to the company. I also did some research on their webpage and found out in a separate category it states that if you return the product you will be responsible for paying a 25% restocking fee! So there's no way to return this product without paying! And most people don't even go to the tab on their website that says return policy because they don't anticipate having to return the product! I then tried to call the company on various numbers and couldn't get a hold of anyone and just like the complaints read the voicemailbox was full!

I couldn't believed my boyfriend and I had fallen for a scam like this. But it doesn't end there...several charges appeared on our debit card AFTER the purchase of this 'laptop' from eglobalwireless.com! And STILL 2 WEEKS LATER NO LAPTOP! We tried being patient, now we're just worried and angry! I know we won't take this lying down and now we're in the process of contacting them everyday and if we get no response for another week, we'll go to the BBB and whatever other reporting agency we have to go to. I don't want to go through this hassle but I can't believe this is happening to us!

On complaintsboard.com a 'man' named Eric frequents the message boards looking for negative comments about eglobalwireless.com and tells people who complain to email him to get their order shipped the next day! I think these are terrible business practices! Who in the world waits on complaints boards about their company and makes the paying customer email THEM to get their product! (but has no time to answer the phones apparently)

I am so fed up. I am posting this for all to see, although I can't vouch for the fact that the product is what other people claim it is (scratched up, used, broken, slow, shoddy) because I never received it to vouch for that, nor have I been notified as to why I haven't received it, I am putting it out there in the world that any company that charges you 25% restocking fee on a separate section of the website for a product that does NOT come on time for what you paid for, it is NOT a place you want to order from. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF EGLOBALWIRELESS.COM.

The extra money you spend at kmart or walmart is well worth it considering the hassle and questions and worries of ordering with eglobal.
