| In the economy today everyone is trying to make ends meat… Looking for a job is very hard for others and the last thing that they need is for a company to waist there time. BY SCAMMING THEM… from the reviews that I have seen from this job I can REALLY say that everything is true ( Job Scam) Well I was one of them that was almost a victim but ALITTLE to smart for them ( Elite Wholesale distribution perfume ) They are a Scam. I was job searching today and seen an ad on Cragislist for an: Office Assistants Full Time position and It had a number I mean how often do you see a phone number on Cragislist. Well for those that know not often. So I call to schedule a interview and I talked with someone named (Andrew) he told me that he is looking for someone to start on Monday so I said yeah I can come in for an interview today at 3:30pm which it seem like everyone had an interview at the same time but we all went back one by one. So I go back and I had a Interview with this lady(Debbie) that looks like she just got out of JAIL or she was wanted I no she does Drugs because she looks like a METH OR A CRACK Head and everyone that is in the office. Just do to the fact that who has time to sit there and play with people and SCAM… As you guys seen in the other Review the they are all true and we have to get theses guys out of here. This is the Ad on Cragislist that is getting everyone in the door.. Office Assistants are needed for our new branch locations in Seattle, Renton and Federal Way. These positions are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. It's great that you have experience for this position, but it is not required. We will train the right candidates. Office Assistant's responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling appointments, answering phones, cash handling, bank deposits and ext. Compensation $18-$19hour plus benefits. You must be 18+ years of age to apply for this position and willing to commit to a full time schedule. To schedule an interview call our office at (253) 517-3401. WHY???? | This is not a complaint. I am truly sorry you were not able to handle the responsabilities involved in having a real job. yes this is Debbie and your slanderous comments are not true. I have never done drugs never been in jail and am very happy in my position. I applied for and was accepted into this same position I didnt quit I asked the proper questions and paid attention when attending the interviews. I was never mislead and yes now I am a manager of the Elite company. I am very happy in my position. If people paid attention and listened to what was being said there would be no confusion. I guess it is just human nature to blame someone else for your shortcomings. I am not going to be childish and make disparaging remarks about you because I dont know who you are and that is not my way if I cant make it in something it is lesson learned and move on I am still here and very happy. |

This place is a scam. You work for free selling their shit perfumes and you only make money if you sell it for more then their mark up cost. Example. They give you a bottle of perfume tell you to sell it for $5 and give them the money. In order for you to keep any profit you have to sell the perfume for say $8, so you will make a whole three dollars. And to make those three dollars you had to sit through their ‘School of Managing” for hours being told you don’t have to sell anything just be a great sales men. Don’t worry this pyramid scheme isn’t a pyramid scheme and on and on and on…. Then you use your gas money to drive your 'team' to a business area and walk around for 8 hours going business to business being rejected then when you get back to the office you sit through their "School of Managing" Evening Edition where they waste your time being late and tell your more bullshit.
I quit my job for a chance at this and there were at least 10 people that were almost business owners and managers, about to make all the big bucks. Why now is it only Taylor, Andrew, and Grant? What happened to the fourth person that was a manger when I was there? For a company that is expanding why did you go from two offices to one?
They don’t steal your identity as far as I can tell. They just use you to make a profit. And feed you full of lies. IT IS A SCAM! I was there for weeks trust me……
Debbie, I don’t know if you look like a crack whore or not. Frankly I don’t care. If you do look like a crack whore you might be the most honest thing in that ‘place of business’. I can say though taking advantage of young naïve 20 something year olds and playing inappropriate games such as “Sex Taboo” or whatever the fuck that game was, and listening to loud top 40 shit music all morning is not a real job. | I went here to this same training in Ferderal Way. I knew it was fishy and when I saw there current the red flag went stait up.. Yes Debbie lookes road hard and put away wet along with the rest of them. It is a scam and a wait of most peoples time. If they were forthcoming they probably wouldn't get much threw the door. But the could just be upfront that they need low life, sleezy sales reps that like working for crap. There are obviouly people out there that like it. It was a three ring circus in there. Yuk!!! |

Listen, I agree that the ad was very misleading and I had hoped to start a salary position with the company. But from everything I've seen and heard it does seem like a wast of time and money. One person told me they spent 8 weeks in training with no pay and did not get the job. I was told I was hired and have yet to actually talk about the position I applied for.
I agree that they are taking advantage of people. Its not necessarily a scam, but it is VERY misleading and they do talk you into things that have nothing to do with the position anyones applied for.
Debbie seems very energetic and I'm sure she's working as hard as anyone else to make an income. There is no need to insult her, its not going to give you a job. Though I am hurt that I invested so much into this as many others have, we don't have a choice but to move on and find legitimate jobs. I'm going to do what I can to help people not fall into the same pit as many have.
for now, I see nothing that can be done about "Elite" and wether they're legitamate or not, no one's gotten the job they were promised. I feel like such an idiot about this whole thing. But there is nothing that can be done but to hold my head high and just move on.
Elite, I don't personally hate anyone there, but i just want you to know that you have broken a lot of peoples hearts by giving them a job that doesn't exist for wages that never come. people came from all over the puget sound hoping to work for you and instead they are getting they're hopes up about a job that will never happen.
If you really care about being called legit or not a scam just advertise what your really wanting to get done. your training for sales reps, not office assisstants. Please stop lying about that. |

| I also got the two interviews and started the training. I questioned compensation for the training and was gave the run a round. I went for 4 days wasting my gas when i finally started doing research on them. They make everybody pay 10$ for a background check that probably never happens. Thats probably a part of there profit?? I asked how long training was as well, the answer i got was 2 to 4 weeks.. Whats the determining factor?? Also they continued to try an have us run a so called contest and have us sell the fake knock off perfumes they have getting more free work and time out of us. I feel bad for everyone who stayed. I have been tempted to go back an talk with everyone there on random occassions to explain to them what has happened to many from this false promising job offer. I flag there posts every time i see them as well. Dont fall for the okey doke.. elite is horrible.. |

| I dont get how they continue to have more and more interviews for a position that doesnt exist. They are such a scam and are taking you for your time and money.. they have over 5 new hires a day that pay for background checks. What type of mess is that..? Something should be done. In washington they can not not pay you for training time that they conduct at there location.. i feel they owe me for 24-30 hours of my time. I am gathering enough factual info that i need to proceed in a law suit. |

| Today I went for an interview and I asked if I would be expected to sell anything. The lady said no but after reading this, I won't be going back. This is a waste of my time, this company is just like Kismet. They both sell knock off perfumes and lure innocent people into being their perfume selling slaves. $18/hour my a$$! |

| Fuck this is a scam!!! I knew it was to good to be true so I did some research about this so call company that now goes by "Taylor & Co." I found this job on craigslist. Job posting was "Office Assistant" $18.00 HR. I was so excited for this job opportunity. I saw a # on craigslist and I called to set up an interview. I was told to come back tomorrow around 4pm. When I arrived I did my first interview with a woman name Debbie. Debbie is an energetic lady and I trusted her. She lied to my face after the 1st interview and said that she liked my personality and wanted me to come back for a 2nd interview. When I went in for my 2nd interview there was a room full of people around 50 people. By the way the office in Federal Way looks a hole in the wall. In the 2nd interview I met a young guy name "Andrew", who was supposedly the "Boss" he told us that he will call us back if he was going to hire us. He said that he has been doing this for 3 years but have been business partners with a woman name Taylor .(whom I never met) He said that his company is a wholesale fragrance distribution company. We would be assistants and not sales rep. He called me back around 3:15pm the same day and told me that I was hired and that I need do a background check and bring in $10 tomorrow for orientation. (I have never had to pay for a background check.) I asked how many positions are going to be available and he said that they have a branch in Tacoma, Auburn, Seattle, West Seattle, Bellevue, and Everett. Each location will need an Office Assistant and 2 Managers. So that only totals up to 8 positions. When I went it for the orientation there was another 50 people. So I was thinking to myself WTF!!! How is this possible?? They said training would be 2-4 weeks without pay. I wanted to ask him questions like, "how do we know for a fact that this is not a SCAM and how come we aren't filling any paper work saying we work for "Taylor & Co". They changed there name from Elite Shipping Ltd. But they said that we cant ask any questions till the end of orientation. He played a game with us saying that who ever sells the most fragrance will win a cash price of $1500.00. They accept Cash/Check/Credit Card. I was thinking damn I thought I applied for an office assistant job not a sales rep. At the end of my first day of orientation someone beat me to the question and ask "Can we get some kind of paper work that says we work for your company to make sure this isn't a fraud and a waste of time?" He got very frustrated and said that if anyone else has any questions to speak with him one on one in his office. What kind of bullshit is this? I'm going back in tomorrow to let everyone know that this is a SCAM and my $10 refund. They said they believe in karma, honesty & integrity. Bullshit you fucking bastards. How are they doing this to so many people and get away with this. I bet they go to different city and states stealing peoples money. Karma is a bitch!!! |

They have detectives all over their ass's. Andrew is a JOKE. He said he makes all this money, drives a brand new audi, blah blah blah..i went outside the office with the police ready to get my money back he had stolen from me, telling me to come down and get it, he had escaped out the back & drove off in a shitty car.. these people are as fake as this job. i am now over 100 dollars out of my pocket, and im a single mom.. because these people are low life peices of shit that cant make money themselves because its obvious they are all HS drop outs.. so they steal money.. one day, hopefully very soon, they will be caught.. & will hopefully be made into bitches in Jail. I wont rest until that happens. we should all work together and get these scum bags off the street, and behind bars- or in a ditch, where they belong. |

Scam Informer is a great tool or website that everyone can use to hear about people's claim towards a company. But it shouldn't be use in a negative way. That is true that you should be able to voice your opinion, but the lack of education you know and assumptions you make can affect everyone. Elite Wholesale Fragrance, LLC might not be right for you, but that doesn't mean that its not right for someone else. Huge corporation and other companies all have something negative about them. ALL companies can not be in business to please everyone, or else they will go out of business. The funny part is, anyone can write any thing online. All I am trying to say is that ELITE is a great company to work for. I know that they ask a lot out of an employee, but I have no issue exceeding their expectations. And this is my opinion.

I'm the kind of person who listens to both side of things and also a person who gives people chances...i feel we live and learn from our mistakes and its nice for others to warn us about companies but to say things in a disrespectful way and slamming each other is nt solving problems it just causes more.
i work hard and put my all into work and personal life and if i do get scammed its a lesson i will learn on my own and i live..to me ive learned allot about sales and pubic speaking going to elite and I'm thankful for that but i feel people who say this is a scam should not stay in the class to bring everyone to their level but what you talk about outside the company is on you. i would not go into someones home and be disrespectful that is just childish. people make mistakes but how we correct those mistakes is what matters. i want my own business and ill bust my butt work hard each day to get it...i wont sit around and complain about not making sales to move up...sales is cut throat at any place you go. i hear the complaints from others but what solutions are being brought? people need to think about how to fix a problem not add to it. this is just my opinion. have a goodnight |

It seems to me that someone literally has too much time on their hands. It sounds like complaining is their hobby. It’s very professional of you to curse and say the “F” word especially when you’re trying to prove a false point. With that attitude and word choice, does it seem that you’re a assistant in training? Or qualify to be a assistant? Stating that you are an “employee” of the company listed above. It’s strange and funny how people make assumptions, lies and come up with false information about the owners, Andrew and Taylor just to prove their story.
You cannot believe everything you read online, especially when it’s coming from some one who only worked at the company for two days. Even McDonalds, Burger King, Macys, and ALL the other major companies are listed on scam reports. Anyone can post anything on Scam Informer and get away with, but it’s not fair to the companies who works really hard to establish their business, get it up and going, and get their reputation tarnish by an unsatisfied person who made it their number one priority in life to talk negative about that company. Move on with your life. Cursing and stooping down to someone’s low level to present a rebuttal is not something that any employee or the owners of the company will do. If you don’t believe that it’s a legit business, you can always check them on business registration.
We have one uptight ex staff member who left because they are unhappy with life and tons of staff who believe in the business and make it as a career. Andrew and Taylor always said that this business is not for everyone, they don’t force you to stay. The doors are always at the same spot and feel free to leave. No hard feelings. Or stay and we’ll welcome you with open arms. Scam Informer is a serious matter, if you’re sitting on your computer, waiting for a rebuttal, so that you can turn this into a blog, you should think real hard as to whom you are as a person. |

In reality anyone that is complaining, you could sit down and be talking to them and they would say well I didn't go to the second interview. Or well It sounded like a scam (meaning I don't really know but I'm going to make drama cause that's all I'm good at.) Are you going to sit there and listen to someone who has NO CLUE because they didn't even go through training for the position anyhow? You know this world is just coming to a halt because NOBODY wants to work for there positions anymore. Everyone just wants to be given everything cause that's what this world is coming to. I do not believe or feed into the hype about companies being scams. If something is too good to be true, I usually listen to my gut reaction and stay clear. This on the other hand seemed somewhat plausable.
After my initial meeting with Debbie, I was sat down with a rediculously large group of people. I was told I would be getting the job as an office assistant. Then why was I being prepped on how to sell their obvious knock off perfume? I dismissed it and continued to listen.
Then they asked for our money for our background checks. Excuse me, but legitimate companies pay for their own background checks. They also told me that my friends, family, and I could purchase perfumes at a wholesale price for that day, and that day only. So of course I eagerly gave them my money.
Fast forward to the next day. I went to check my bank statement. The crooks had taken over 200 dollars more than what I said they could! I instantly hopped into my car and sped down to their shanty office. I demanded that Andrew come out to talk to me. Not only did he refuse, the receptionist told me that I would not get any of my money back and I had to leave immediately. I ordered them to give me my perfume, or cash back. They refused to do both. Then threatened to call the cops on me when I started to raise my voice!
Not only have I been robbed for about 450 dollars, they have all my information! They have my social, my address, and more.
These people are crooks. Ignore their pitiful excuse for them defending themselves! They are a scamming company who will not think twice about stealing everything you are willing to give.
The police have been called and THEY told me that they are working with AT LEAST 15 others in the Federal Way area to get peoples money back and shut them down! Do not believe me? Please contact the police department and ask them do they have numerous complaints against either Taylor & Company or Elite Fragrence. |

Lets first talk about the girl who states she had over 200 taken from her account. Not true the company has a receipt and bank ledgers to prove that only $75 was taken from the account for the 3 perfumes she ordered. Next thing the girl came in that day and caused a huge seen. She was swearing up and down, name calling and kicking and screaming like a child. The funny thing is she has know idea that the whole thing was caught on type and it was reviewed by the Federal Way Police. She demanded a refund and was given a refund for the full amount and an extra $10 for her troubles. When the police showed up she was escorted off the property and told not to come back or she would be arrested. Elite Wholesale Fragrance has prof of this hole incident, case number from the police, receipts, bank ledgers and video footage. What was stated above is in no way true. This girl is just trying to bring down Elite Wholesale Fragrance by making up story's and lies. Some people just do not have any time on there hands. There are people in this world who are homeless and starving. The crappy thing about these negative reports is Andrew and Taylor are great people and give back to the community more than any one i have ever seen. They donate allot of money to charities and work to make this world a better place. They are trying to help unemployed people find work and create a living for themselves. They worked hard to get were they are now. If you ever meet them you can tell right off the bat they are great people. They don't board up the doors, if you feel that the company is not right for you than no hard feelings. People just need to grow up and stop being lazy. You have to work hard for things in life not everyone had a silver spoon shoved up there you know what as a kid.
Anyways Elite Wholesale Fragrance is a great company and the owners are amazing people. It takes longer then 2 days in training to think you know everything about the business lol. It took them years to get it up and running. |

First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Cody Ash and I am an Assistant for Elite Wholesale Fragrance In Kent Washington. When I first started I answered the ad just like everyone else. But unlike the other people that I started with, I stuck with it and I am now an Assistant. Before I started I was in the military, I left the military and had no plan in life. I was broke going from job to job to job until finally I answered the ad, Andrew did my first interview and he gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. People who blow out in their first or second week obviously didn't understand the business. They give anyone, no matter what race, color, gender, or age the same opportunity they gave me. Like I said I went through training in Federal Way and I got the freedom to move to the location of my choice. Any person with a brain can look at all these negative letters and see that some people just are not cut out for this business and have way to much time on there hands. I mean there are so many companies out there with negative feed back but does that mean you will not shop there? Everyone at Elite has the exact same equal opportunity. All it takes to complete training is working hard, dedication, and a little blind faith. I have allot of respect for Andrew and Taylor. They are great people and unbelievable company owners. When an opportunity like this comes your way it isn't about what someone else did or does for you but what you do with the opportunity yourself.
P.S. The girl above is not telling the truth not even close. I was there that day and she received her full refund for her order. She also made racial comments to the receptionist and was cursing allot. The police think she was under the influence of something. |
