eVizaTransactions.com eViza Safe Transactions Escrow Scam Bank Transfer to the UK or Canada Gardena, California
1st of Dec, 2011 by User757671
eViza Safe Transactions disguise themselves as owners selling cars and other merchandise on Craigslist and Ebay. The deals are usually too good. Then when you respond the 'owner' may begin with a sad story about a sister in hospital so he / she left the car with an escrow company called eVizaTransactions that will take the payment and ship you the car. She then explains the process and directs you to their website where you are supposed to register and get a transaction ID. The website is very impressive but you may notice slight grammatical errors and that is the first flag. Otherwise it is very professionally designed but you may notice they talk too much about themselves. They are very sophisticated and give you an international flair with the UK and Canadian offices. They even apologize for not having telephone support due to the volume of callers but offer LIVE CHAT which never works. They even warn you about scams via Western Union and MoneyGram and that is why they are safe to transfer your money to a bank account in the UK. Sometimes, they suddenly change the address of the banks on you if they think you have just transferred some money and apologize for the clerical error. I think this is to cover a delay when you start asking where your money went. They have also written very positive reviews about themselves as if it came from the general public , so when you search for reviews you get convinced. They then ask you for 50% of the asking price but will deliver the car for the balance without even verifying if you have the balance to pay. They have excellent testimonials about themselves but all the so-called founders with 20years+ professional experiences do not exist in the national database. The closest names are people born in the 1980s. The company itself was only registered on the internet in Nov 2011 but they claim many decades of experience. All the locations and addresses they list turn out from Google Earth to be storage facilities or sporting goods stores that have never heard of them. Meanwhile , if you insist, the owner will claim she has the title with her and supply you with a VIN number that doesn't match her name if you do a search. Meanwhile her address eViza gives you is in the middle of a highway. If you were to change your email and reapply for the same car, the owner's address changes to a cement factory in another state 2000 miles away. If you ask the owner if she is accepting payments from multiple buyers she tells you that your are the only interested person or buyer she knows. If you ask about her sick sister she doesn't respond. If you say you will send a courier to get her signature that authorizes payment for her car to eViza, and scan a copy of the title, at your own cost, she suddenly changes her story to say eViza has the title and she cannot meet you because eViza is handling the sale. If you ask for eVizas phone number because she could not have given her car away to a company without meeting and talking to someone , that a physical transfer of a car cannot be done by internet alone, she tells you she has done 3 transactions with them already and trusts them. When you ask how she could have done 3 transactions with a company that is only 2 weeks old, she doesn't respond. When you insist on which address she can actually be located , including the hospital that she visits her sister, so you could pay her cash to get her car back from eViza , she goes cold on you. If you ask who is paying for the storage of the car while it has not been sold, she tells you its all included in the price. But when you call the storage companies whose addresses are being used, they tell you they have never heard of eViza and do not offer mailboxes or mail forwarding for other companies. They just charge about $90 p/ month to keep a car but the title of the car must be in the name of the renter and they do verify and keep copies.
