Excellent and Elegant Events was hired to plan and execute a wedding on Sept. 10 2011 for a friend. Mrs. Conrad the owner of the company and apparently the sole employee was argumentative and rude to the wedding party and guests. She started the ceremony almost 2 hours late with a myriad of excuses, ranging from her employees quit at the last minute when no other employees were ever seen, to it required more time to prepare the bride and set up the wedding which consisted of plastic lawn chairs with a left over arch illuminated by 1 strand of white christmas lights. The ultimate insult was after the ceremony was over and the party was headed toward the reception Mrs. Conrad became angry with the was in which HER wedding was performed. She insulted the preacher and the grooms mother. When the wedding party arrived at the site of the reception it was discovered that Mrs. Conrad had cancelled the reception before the party had ever left the wedding grounds. The restaurant at which the reception was to occur would not allow the women of the wedding party to go upstairs to reclaim their personal property. The local police had to be called to allow the ladies to get their stuff. Mrs. Conrad payed the restaurant with a bad check. After a little research it seems Mrs Conrad has severe issues paying her own bills and has been sued 2008, 2010, and 2001 for eviction.
