Fast Times Automotive John Steldt Takes money and does not do the repairs requested West Allis, Wisconsin

I have been taking my vehicles to Fast Times Automotive for over 20 years and never had any issues. John Steldt, the owner, I have known on a personal level for the same time. He has done regular automotive repair and performance repair for me. When my motor needed to be rebuilt in my 1994 Mustang, I went to him because he had done this for me in the past. We decided to build a stroker motor for it which would have cost between $7K and $8K. I gave him a $4500 deposit and my old motor which he salvaged a $1000 worth of parts from. That was on 2/25/09. To this day, he has not produced me a motor, after excuse, after excuse, after excuse. Nor has he refunded any of my money. For the last year, I have had him in small claims court and am still trying to collect $1500 of the $5500 he owes me yet and still havn't received the parts that he has from my motor. He has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. This saddens me because John used to be a really good guy and has become somebody who just jerks you around and screws with you. I would highly recommend that you choose one of the hundreds of other repair facilities in the Milwaukee area than to use Fast Times Automotive. I cannot even put into words the agriviation this has been in the past two and a half years.
