Get Licsensed Shahzad Ali Get Licensed from the UK Shahzad Ali owes me money Middlesex, Internet
7th of Apr, 2011 by User160418
Get Licensed and Shahzad Ali owes $22,0000 in unpaid bills for guaranteed SEO services to our company Trendmetrix Software (http://www.trendmx.com). Since 2008 our company Trendmerix Software based in Canada had been contracted to improve the search engine ranking of http://www.get-licensed.co.uk/. Shahzad Ali from Get Licensed signed a contract with us in 2008, which basically spelled out we guarantee search engine rankings for specific keywords Get Licensed was targeting, such as sia licence, sia training etc. We have achieved rankings for several of his target keywords and the number of leads and sales improved his business. From the beginning Shahzad Alis company didnt pay the full invoice amount. At first Get Licensed was a few hundred dollars in arrears and later a few thousand dollars. During 2009 and 2010 Get Licensed added new keywords to the guaranteed SEO contract and we kept of performing and billing for achieved rankings, but we have never received full invoice payments. After contacting him several times a week via phone or email, Shahzad Ali stopped all payments in the summer of 2010 with over $20,000 owing to Trendmetrix Software. In December 2010 we have come to an agreement on how his company would repay the outstanding amount. We have agreed to monthly installments of $1000, while Trendmetrix continue to improve rankings of his existing and new keywords. He has made one payment in February 2011 of $1000. As of April 2011 he doesnt respond to emails or phone calls. We are proceeding with a small claims court proceeding in Canada to get our money back. If you want to get paid make sure you get cash or credit card payment from Get Licensed otherwise you might as well throw your money down the drain.

Get Licensed SIA licence training – Serious complaint to trading standards:

It turns out that many other people were very unhappy after being conned by “Get-Licensed”. The latest is that the others who complained with me also noticed that their comments kept disappearing from Qype.co.uk and only positive feedback remains. It turns out that Get-Licensed / Educational Finace Services / AAB Training is also running an online scam whereby they pay Qype an additional fee which allows them to control all online feedback. They delete any negative feedback! This is unlawful according to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) who oversees the implementation of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing (the CAP Code) By ignoring the regulations and faking the reality of their feedback seems to be how Get-Licensed mange to keep their scam operational.

Beware of the Get-Licensed Scam:
They claim to offer the full SIA door supervisor course which meets the prescribed hours confirmed on the SIA’s website which will get you employed. They sell spaces on the course for cheap. Once you arrive on the course, you are aggressively manipulated into attending other qualifications and are left to believe that if you do not pay for extra qualifications, you will never find a job. This scam will seriously affect us because the course is already shorter than the learning hours required on the SIA website and then they still add on a full HSE first aid course within the same hours. This means that the qualification claimed from HABC does not meet the hours required by the SIA – and that if the SIA finds out, hundreds of us who completed the course may loose our licences and our jobs because we have invalid certificates.

After complaining to the relevant bodies and seeking legal advise it seems that the awarding body is covering up for the company as they do not want to loose their part of the revenue that is created by the Get-Licensed scam. They get paid a certificate fee or around 30 for each person attending the course and would not be interested holding their client to account. It is absurd that the same company who receives payment for certificates is monitoring the compliance of the people who pay them. Another training company said that the SIA is aware of the scam but did not want to take action during the time of the 2012 Olympics because too many people would loose their licences which will affect the Olympics.

The staff spoke out about some interesting contradictions because according to them the company is not located at the prestigious W1 address where they claim to be, but they are all hiding out in Southall on the broadway and the potential list of owners are Shahzad Ali, David Lochrie, Sanjeev Patel, Brits and Malihas. They use a complicated web of companies to administer the scam. The gist we are getting is that it seems like the masterminds in the scam are all well placed to put the blame on staff. I have the biggest sympathy to members of staff who has to carry out the scam as they probably underpaid and face a lot of abuse when people get angry as they discover the truth.

It seems that according to their websites they are not being held to account for the scam because they still sell SIA licence courses in cities like Birmingham, Brighton, Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and the group also have other qualifications like PTLLS with city and guilds and APLH, first aid and NCPLH. It also makes you wonder why these people would use Get-Licensed, AAB Training and Training 2 Protection to advertise the same course?

Everyone else who has been scammed by them must make an effort to expose this shameful robbery affecting people trying to make a career change during the double dip recession. Where can people still find decent honest SIA licence training?

Ironically I was hired by Mansoor Clark from get-licensed.co.uk's to help tp boost the companies reputation. They now owe me neary $400 in unpaid bills and they won't even return my messages.
If get licensed deals their subcontractors like that I wonder how they treat their cusomers.
Beware of get-licensed and Mansoor Clark!
