Go Telemarketing
Go Telemarketing Takes advantage of Seniors and sells you bad leads Plano, Texas
5th of Dec, 2010 by User109480
Go telemarketing claimed they could provide qualified, pre-set appointments for reverse mortgage leads using their list and telemarketers, then their quality control manager Bill Stephenson would review and confirm the appointment. I purchased 15 of these pre-set appointments. I showed up at the scheduled time given to me by Destiny McCoy and every single one of them said they had never scheduled an appointment and had no clue why I would be at their doorstep.

Go Telemarketing uses a call center in the Phillipines. Their callers have accents and speak fast. I reviewed a couple of the recordings and the seniors really have no clue what exactly is happening. The seniors simply say yes or no as they are just trying to get the telemarketer off the phone. The telemarketer asks if they have a mortgage and if they are over 62 years old. Then tells the senior that they have an appointment set for whatever time the next day. The whole entire phone call lasts between 2-3 minutes tops. I discussed this with Destiny and Jessica at Go Telemarketing on how the seniors really do not understand what they are agreeing to and how they have no clue why I am at their door at the scheduled time. They both said pretty much that it is not their companies fault that the seniors do not understand and the telemarketers are doing their job correctly. I asked for a different telemarketer and for them to speak slower, ask the senior to reaffirm the appointment, and to have their quality control call the senior to confirm they understand that an appointment has been made. Go Telemarketing has not done so. Go telemarketing advertised that they set appointments. They do not. They confuse the senior and sell the lead as an appointment in hopes that somehow we make it through their door unannounced.

Do not waste your time, money, or efforts on these false leads. The sad thing is they realize they have an issue. I asked Destiny if this was just me having issues with seniors saying they never made an appointment and she said no, there are others who have bought leads from them saying the exact same thing as me.
