Nice9 bedroom home...but renter beware when it comes to the Hatton House. What is funny about this house is we requested a key to the home but were never provided a keyto the house during our stay, which made us feel unsafe and the owners came in and out of the house without knocking.
Also, the owner Wade Hatton has made several court appearances in Coconino Court as shown here:

Wish we had done a search like this before renting the house from a private owner.

I have to say, what are these people talking about? We stayed at the Hatton House for a nine day trip to Flagstaff and found the owners Wade and Maria warm and wonderful. The house and cottages are beautifully decorated and maintained, nicer than some 5 star hotels we have stayed in. They are hard working, kind and authentic people. We felt welcome, safe and looked after. We are photographers and carry extensive and expensive camera gear and computers and never once had cause for concern about our safety or the safety of our equipment. The author of the original complaint delivers a low blow using the "court appearances" to validate his/her complaint. I checked and they are such minor infractions, amounting to nothing. It makes me seriously wonder what kind of information we would find about the complainer.

I highly recommend staying at the Hatton House, enjoying real hospitality and refreshing, good old fashion honesty in the way they conduct themselves and run their "Inn."
