Herbal Life Vicki Bridges STOLE MONEY FROM WIFE AND I East Los Angeles, California

Hello I'm Jason E. R, I would like to take the time to write what happened to my wife and I and how distraught and upset we are. We began the Herbal Life business somewhere in the first or second week of October. At fist it was agreed that the distributor pack would cost$40.00 and we at first paid $15.00 to get the pack and later$40.00 was taken from our account by Vicki Bridges, which was fine because on the website they said they were going to do that. So my wife, just lost her job at a very messed up Daycare Center, and we used the last $160 we had to get started in the business. To which Vicki already took the $40 out our account, and I didn't think of that offensively because I was told on the website that would happen. My wife and I went through the business training through I-Office and all the ridiculous phone call conference calls about weight loss and the pyramid schemes. During this time we knew immediately that something was wrong because they demanded more and more money to be successful in the business. Now reminding all of you that my wife and I are already struggling financially, they were asking for us to pay a merchants account $40-$50 monthly an website monthly cost on top of all that we were already paying I-Office $20 monthly. So we didn't buy any of the stuff we were told to get and were told by Vicki we can get it later, after all the training was over we were excited to start marketing retail customers, but 2 weeks went by with no way to legitimately start marketing business. We were told by one of the trainers on a conference call that we would have to invest in a (HAP Order), which is basically multi-flavored weight loss product shakes to have for our so-called Grand Opening of the business. According to the training it was recommended and pushed for everyone we invite to our house and any kind of gathering to sample the products and hopefully become customers and also become disributors as well. I became frustrated and told my wife you tell her no, by which my wife was scolded by the lady on the phone , a person which I immediately corrected with the most verbal correction to talking to my wife like that. The lady told me I don't want to argue to which I hung up the phone before I say something I would have regretted later. We immediately called Vicki Bridges our,(Herbal Life Business Mentor), (before the 2 weeks by the way of doing nothing), that we were ready to get started with the business. We were then told that we would not be able to market the business without the merchant's account which was $40-$50 monthly, the business flyers to put in stores plus also the 30 call me leads promotions. This is the so-called call back leads that they had of people already ready to get into the business they just needed disributors to take their information and sell them the products. These 30 call me leads cost $389.00 plus the merchant's account or we would have to purchase the merchants account and post flyers. I immediately told my wife absolutely no to this scam, to which my wife then told me that Vicki told us they she emptied her entire retirement account to get started in the business, ( with probably the expectation that by Vicki telling us that touching story it would manipulate us to do the same). This is when I strongly considered leaving the business at that point. On Saturday(11-12-11), my wife was checking our bank checking account, to which to our horror $93.00 was taking out by Vicki Bridges. That wihdrawal transaction was done without our agreement or knowledge on Friday (11-11-11). We immediately called Vicki to which she didn't answer or call us back until 5:46pm Sunday night on our cell phone, which we didn't receive because we were at church. We tried calling again and left 3 messages, no response back just an email from Vicki explaining why she took the $93 out of our account. She claimed that 2 distributor Box kits were sent by accident and that she told my wife that she sell the first one with a 25% discount and the second we would have to send back or resell it to another distributor or customer. Now let me remind everyone of this fact, we didn't even ask for any distributor set boxes neither was it our fault that they were accidently sent to our home. We thought that they were sent to get us started on our business as a result of our $200 investment. We told Nikki that we can't afford to send it back to her nor the price of these box sets. It was agreed that she would just consider the one box a lost since we already started taking it,( cause it was part of our training that we were required to take products for weight loss results so that we can market the products from the platform of experience not just head knowledge); and said we needed to send the last box back in the mail or set aside for another distributor or customer, to which we happily agreed. She sent in our email that she sold it to us the fist one 25% discount and the second box she demanded us to send that back or we would be charged for that too, now as reminder to everyone $93 was already stolen which was for bills now we have to be late on. By the way for those of you are wondering, we had to give Vicki Bridges a distributor of Herbal Life access into our account to get started in the busines which is how she is able to get in and out of our account. My wife and I are highly upset, we tried sending an email back in response , she has not contacted us and she is probably too scared to call us back because she cowardly keeps emailing us and not calling us on our phone numbers which she has. This business is a serious scam and a waste of time and this lady stole from my wife and I and we are upset. If my wife and I had the time or the money we would have taken this to court but don't know if we have the legal grounds because we gave her access into our account in the first place, and again we don't have the money nor the time. We are still looking for legitimate work at home opportunites that are legitimate. How Herbal Life is Better Business Approved with an A+ rating I will never know. We still desire to be entrepeneurs and take this as a learning experience, and even though we are struggling financially we know that Jesus will turn things around for us and will vindicate us.
