We have been in business for 20 plus years at this location and we know what we're doing. Giving great service and warranties. Diagnosed a 03 Saturn Vue that had a faulty throttle body. Found one on line--car part- com. They stated it was "a good unit", although they had never sold one.
Sent it to me, we installed it and now the vehicle ha transmission codes that weren't there before. Only explanation for this is the new/old TB from Hillside has damaged the ECM--they only work on a 5 volt reference signal.
Call the bozos at Hillside--they said they've never heard of that--although they admitted on selling a part they had never sold before.
Called LKQ, had them send me a TB (d**n good company), plugged it in and the vehicle worked fine--delivered it and customer was happy--no check engine light anymore.
You may ask, why didn't I just buy from LKQ in the first place? Good reasonable question--LKQ was 3 time higher--but in the end--IT WORKED. Never buy from Hillside auto parts.
