I got the name Active Appliances and their number from the Fridgidaire to repair my washer. The service tech did show up on time and showed my very pregnant wife that was on a conference call - she works a high powered job from home - a sheet with charges and, because she does not know better, agrees. He then changes a door latch on the washer and charges her $364.74. The whole event from arrival to departure took 20 minutes. I took the part and went to a local appliance part retailer and they gave me a price of $74.49. Active Appliances charged my wife $290,- for a job that took 20 minutes tops. The part was on top of that. If you go to other consumer sites like this one or Yelp you will find many more unhappy customers of Active Appliances. I strongly recommend to stay away from them.
