I was bidding on a $1000 Visa gift card and invested 24 hours and more that $300 in bids (I was willing to spend $500 for the $1000 card). After continuously bidding for a 24 hour period, the Wavee system stopped working and did not allow me to continue with bidding on the item - I reported technical difficulties and was met with rejection to deliver the item I was bidding on at the current price when their system failed. Wavee took more than $330 from me without delivering any goods. I have only bid on items 2 times, but their system shut down both times. They simply state that due to the technical error all auctions would be voided. It leads me to believe that they take your money to purchase credits but never deliver the item you are bidding on. I made 5 phone calls to customer service and each person I spoke with was ruder than the previous. I got through to a supervisor, was laughed at and hung up on. I was told they would not be refunding any money or allowing the purchase of any item at the auction ending price. There are no winners here. Avoid this penny auction site or you will lose many dollars.
