Several days after this "cleaning," and before I had used the dryer, I went outside to check the vent where it exits the house. The vent goes up through the wall, through the attic, and exits through a screen under the soffit of the house near the garage. Upon looking at that screen and removing it, I could see that it had not been cleaned at all. I called the company to complain, and was told that he would come back out, reclean the dryer vent, and refund my $69.He gave mesome story about a death in his family, that hewould be out of town, and he would get back with me. I waited and heard nothing.

I called the company again in November several times, reaching the answering service, and never receiving a callback. I once managed to reach a male voice on the phone, who stated that he was Rob and that I needed to talk with Ron, and he would have Ron call me. (I recognized his voice and it was actually Ron who said that - lying to me.) I still never heard back.

I called again a couple of times in December, with no callback. I waited until the holidays were over and called again several times in January, reaching the answering service as usual, and no one has called me back to follow up on what was promised.

I don't believe a new elbow pipe was installed, and I don't believe anyone went up on my roof to screen any vents. The dryer doesn't even vent to the roof! He obviously didn't check to see where it vented. This man is a scam artist, a lier, and completely untrustworthy.
