I wrote the Texas State Securities Board in 2010 about this group, hoping they would do something to protect citizens of Texas. My letter read:

I assume the "10 floor" in the address refers to the "10 Joint Venture" which their investment package is called.

I can not find any information of either man, so I assume these are pseudo-names or possibly DBA's. The "report" of the potential of these properties was written by a Craig DeArmond of Odessa, TX who is a pastor of the "Latter Rain Ministries" and possessing no known credentials to value an oil investment. I did locate a Matt Madison listed as a leader in the "Memorial Bible Church" of Ft. Worth, and working as a food server at El Torro located in Ft. Worth. The partnership claims to have a staff of Registered and Certified Geologists, Geophysicists, and Petroleum Engineers but no names are furnished to me so I can not check them out. I suspect they do not exist.

I am suspicious of their offer because I find it difficult to believe they could have purchased the producing wells and leases, they claim to own and are now raising $7.5 million to operate. The location description of these wells does not use the normal Township/Range and Section, but describes them as: "Turn left on Buck Jackson Road 786, go 9.6 miles to the cow pens on the right, turn right on the Twin Wells Rd. go thru the cattle guard and 200 yards" etc.. When I requested the exact section-Township-Range and the API number I was told they would get back to me. It has been over two weeks now and where I was receiving 3-5 calls a day from 3 different people I have not received a single call after asking for information I could use to verify this is a valid investment. The lack of public information on the officers of this investment partnership and the recent rash of scams from Tyler Texas only a few miles to the east lead me to believe this is nothing more than a bold scam to grab investor's money and disappear. I also notice they include a Special Power of Attorney which pretty much gives up any rights to any part of my investment.

I hope you will be active in investigating this obvious scam and can shut them down before any good citizen looses his savings.
