I am a small local contractor in Arizona and have been doing preservation work for several national firms. About two months ago I came across a posting requesting preservation contractors need in AZ so I responded. They sent me over a packet requesting my information so it seemed pretty normal. Within a day they sent me about 300 dollars worth of occupancy inspection orders.I completed all the orders, sent them the invoice, and spoke to the owner Rich Rodriguez about getting more work. he said everything was fine and he would get back to me in a day. That was almost 2 months ago. No payment and no work I know that 300 isn't a lot and it could have been worse but I just want to warn anyone new from being taken advantage of in possibly a bigger way. It seems as though they call for help from new contractors when they get behind and then just dont answer the phone or pay you. Do not work for this company unless you like working for free . They try to paint the illusion as though they are huge but its really a small operation taking advantage of small contractors.
