Italian guys approached me asking if I spoke Italian. Later, told me they needed to get to Italy and had some jackets that they needed to unload so they did not have to pay taxes.

I bought 9 jackets total, talked them down to $200 for all, but when I got home, they look nice but there is no way they are leather.

Similar story and situation. Italian guy with somewhat broken English trying to off jackets to avert paying taxes.
Nice looking jackets but not leather. English got better as you began to better your position. Persistent at closing the deal and also driving very nice vehicle that is definitely not a rental.
Think about it, do we need to purchase so many jackets? Do not let your greed block your good judgment.!

I was at a Tim Hortons and an Italian man approached me. He asked if I was Italian and I said no. He had a thick Italian accent, he told me he was on the way to the Air Port and needed to unload some coats. I said no and I'm not interested. He was very persistent and asked how much money I had on me. I told him I had $20, then he went on to say he would follow me to the bank so I could get some money. I can't believe i fell for this, I got 3 coats for $150...and the worst part is, they don't all fit me and they aren't real leather!! I was scammed!!!
