Problem #1: Deceptive advertising
Their website says "a FREE Linksys adapter". When does FREE mean "rental". Deceptive advertising practices and hidden charges make ITP: a FAIL.
Problem #2: Sound Quality
Their sound quality is the worst in the industry that I know of. They must be using servers that 10 years ago when voip first came out. Tried everything the service technican suggested (many times). I gave up after calling back the 10th time for resolution so I cancelled my service.
Problems #3: Shaddy Business Practices
They overcharged me $20 on the first month when it was supposed to be free. Called in and ITP Customer reps acknowledge this fact but will not refund this amount back. This is nothing short of highway robbery.
Problem #4: Wording in the ITP terms and conditions
..which is is full of inaccuracies, how can any customer trust what they read? Yet, this is often referred by the customer reps. For instance:
---- D. Money Back Guarantee ITP offers a 30-day money back guarantee, applicable to one primary line per account, not additional or secondary lines. Under terms of the Money-Back Guarantee, ITP refunds the first month of service and waives the disconnect fee. ----
But get this...the first month of service is already free and there IS NO DISCONNECT FEE if you cancelled in time.
Problem #5: The charged me $99.99 for a modem when I cancelled my account.
This a fee charged for the "supposedly" free modem they clearly advertise on their website. They will go to any means to collect this money, including, "further legal action whihc may include the garnishment of wages and/or the freezing of assets".
If there is any lawyer out there that willing to lead class action suit against this company, please contact me. |
