This company has been relentless in pursuing me for a debt that is old, and they served me legal papers at work. I called and talked with Jennifer, and I asked her if we could make payment arrangements to settle the debt in return for them dropping the case. She agreed and I asked her to e-mail me something in writing. Needless to say, that never happened. I sent her a fax outlining our conversation and sent the first payment as agreed. It was cashed....THEN, yesterday, I get a "notice of intent to seek entry of default and judgment by default"!! I called immediately and got voicemail. I called back and it went to a general mailbox. It is virtually impossible to get anyone on the phone there and you cannot trust what they say. I don't know what recourse I have.

we agreed on settling on three different accounts( one of which they did not send papers on) So I contacted them and they stated they had never made a agreement on that particular account and that if I did not send them two hundred dollars they would not honor the other agreements (I THINK THEY WERE TRYING TO GET ME TO REINSTATE A DEBT THAT IS PAST THE STAUE OF LIMITATIONS. Well they did honor the other two and of course I would never send money without anything written so now they are suing me for the full amount. I suspect it is past the statue of limitations. I told them if I ever talked to them again that I was going to record them but they said if I did the conversation was over immediately but the first thing they do is let you know they are recording you. These guys are liars and scum.
ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING!
