Jillian's Boston Lucky Strike Boston No Refunds for Unused Bowling Games Boston, Massachusetts

I planned a recent bachelor party where part of the party took place at Jillian's in Boston, specifically Lucky Strike for some bowling. With 9 people in the group it was expected to be an expensive bowling night. After a two hour wait, we finally got a lane for 9 people. We were told that there was a maximum of 2 games per lane and that we had to prepay. So, as it was still early in the night, we paid for 2 games per person, plus shoes. This came out to approximately $140. We immediately started bowling. Unfortunately, the groom and another guest came down with food poisoning (not from Jillian's), so we had to call it an early night. At the time, we were halfway through the first game. So, the majority of people left, and 3 of us finished out the first game for 9 people. When we were finished I went up to the counter and asked if we could have a refund of some sorts for the second game. The person behind the counter told us that there were no refunds and that there was nothing that could be done. After bringing the news back to the other two who were still at Jillian's, they both proceeded to go up to the counter and question what had been said. Unfortunately, they received the same response as myself. On top of not getting a refund for the second game and losing $60, the computers on the alley we were on that night were continuously malfunctioning. You could bowl a gutter ball and you would end up with a strike. It was just overall terrible and completely terrible customer service. I don't know if I'll ever want to go back there after the way were treated. It all just added more sourness to the sick groom and our night as a whole.
