| According to this agency it costs $5 per headshot. Which works out to be $125 for 25 prints. Meanwhile, I worked with a digital retouching studio and their rate was $123 for 100 prints. And then a re-order after that is $105 for 100 prints. When I asked them what printing company they work with they refused to tell me claiming that it would ruin their relationship with the company. I have yet to discover the name, contact information of this alleged printing company. They won't even show me a receipt. As far as I'm concerned if they can't provide a company name and a receipt, it doesn't exist. The only "proof" they supposedly have are some blurry headshots which the printers apparently messed up. Blurry headshots are hardly proof of an existing printing company. Anyone can sit at home and print something up. Receipts, a company name, contact information - that's what any reputable agency would provide. If you're someone else who has been ripped off by Just Canadian Talent, or any other talent agency, don't hesitate to report it. Help inform other people seeking representation. |

First of all you are a liar and big one at that THE AGENCY HAS YOUR RECEIPT right at the office you have not come to pick it up and the printing company is listed on their as well. ALSO THEY GARAUNTEED THE LOWEST PRICE IN THE COUNTRY or else they will beat any quote you give them IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY that we are trying to make a few dollars from you then its sad...
You are not proffessional and nor have we tried to sell you anything the funny thing is you have not tried to come into the office and when we did tell you about comming in to view the shot you never showed. The quality you sent us was 75 dpi which is very very low and then when we asked you to send us a new shot you didn't and lied that you did.
The sad part about all this is that you ruined your own chance.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS in regards to the agency contact us we are only here to help I have never garaunteed work nor have I ever forced anyone to sign or go with anything. WE do not sell courses or photoshoots we only recommend and do not ever force you to sign up to anything.

Everyone,
Just Canadian Talent is the biggest scam!!! when they tried to charge me for photos and I said no, they tried to make money off of me for the prints!! and an "admin fee" too. Please stay clear of these scam agencies.
Do not go with any agencies that charge ANY type of fee. THey only make a commission from you bookings. I've been with the agency for one year. Guess what? They did not contact me ONCE for ANY auditions. Scammers!!!

| this SCAM agency is still around? I went to these guys when they were still based on Mississauga. I paid them around $500 for classes and I never got any work or even a call for an audition. It seems to me that they take anyone with a credit card. PLEASE STAY AWAY PEOPLE. |

Back when I was 19, my friend and I went to JCT back in 2009 when their location was in Mississauga. I was told I had to take acting classes for $400 and it was only for 4 weeks.
My parents paid for the acting classes with Juli-Ann Kay. I didn't learn anything but to say my name in front of a camera (slating). She made us do this exercise where we had to "tap" into our emotions and share a personal story in front of people. I didn't learn anything but humilate myself and was forced to share a personal story in front of strangers.
I thought the classes were going to boost my confidence because I was going to be mentored by a professional. But Juli-Ann Kay was very intimidating and cold. She always seemed she was above everyone else.
Finally, when I finished the classes Jason Cameron (agent) sat down with me and went through my performance in the last 4 weeks. At the end of it he said I needed to take head shots which was another $200. I wanted to save money so I asked him if I could provide him with my own headshots, since I knew a professional photographer (who was also my friend) he said no.
I couldn't tell my parents the headshots were an another $200, so I just stopped going. |

| but on their website it shows what films they had worked with. are those all fake? im just asking cuz i got called for an interview with them. and if they are a scam then its not worth going. |
