Non shipment of Goods

I had received a promotional email from Leo Impact Security Services for its so called education bundle "The Secrets of Hacking" - Second edition. It was supposed to be containing printed material, 2xDVDs and PDF copy of book of Version 1. Myself having an interest in IT security and Cyber crime, thought of buying a copy to evaluate and suggest to friends and customers. I placed an order for the same on its website and was issued an Invoice No. 2523 on 16th Jan 2010.I deposited cash in Leo's account at ICICI bank at Borivali, Mumbai branch. After a week or so, I tried to get the details of shipment and then I realized that I have been taken for a ride!!! There is only one lady who picks up the phone and assures you to do all necessary and reply by email etc..However, nothing happens. After lots of arguments, I could get mobile no. of his Manager who neither picks up phone nor answers you call or SMS. I alert aspiring IT students and professionals not to fall a prey to such frauds.

Further more, I found that its website does not mention anything about promoters, directors or owner's details. It also does not have customers to be advertised on its website. Though they claim to be operational in US and UK!!! It seems this is a fly-by-night kind of operator who operates from home, has some knowledge of IT, has friends in US and UK whose address is available for putting up on its website. Because of its malpractices, they are not able to retain its employee (they have only one - who picks up phone). They wanted to recruit some sales girls in Oct 2009. I request all the people who come across this post, to make potentially vulnerable persons like students and professionals aware about this company. Play safe and take care.

Dear users,

this user is fake and we are 1 year customer and the company is legal
and Leo impact security is top most company who giving advertisement in Digit, Chip, pc world usa, Business world, linux 4 you from last 4 months.

you can see all details at ministry of company affair website:

www.mca.gov.in and company is also registered in usa and send 5000 kits per day.

So all users donot think negative to see this post i think this is any competitor of leo impact who feel jelious.

Dude, I am damn sure that you ARE the whole and sole owner of that dubious Leo Impact Security. Shut the fcuk up and return money to all people you cheated. And, ANYBODY can give advertisements in ANY magazines the world. All magazines/paper/TV channels would all sorts of advertising for money.

Leo impact security is a SCAM, I have been promised a refund for 2 weeks now and they will not honor this. Their website looks good on the surface but the content is lacking, in fact the links to the so-called training videos do not work.
I have reported them to the FTC and the AG office in my state and after finding out I was reporting them they didn't contact me to resolve this issue.

I do not recommend you do business with this company.

I have also been trapped in their scam. I paid them Rs 1450 for the combo pack and its been more than 20 days and still i have not recieved anything. They say my pack has been dispatched if it has been dispatched then where it is now ?

They dont even have the tracking number if they have really dispatched they should be having it.
