Lightyear Network Solutions Fraudulent Billing Louisville, Kentucky

I've gotten two bills out of the blue from Lightyear claiming I owe them $1.19 for some calls to number in CA & NY that I've never heard of. I called Lightyear to get these charges erased and Jessica at Lightyear said my account had been activated by a cell provider they use (name left out intentionally) in Kentucky that I've never dealt with (I'm in Kansas). The cell provider told me they stopped using Lightyear years ago and appreciated me telling them Lightyear was using their name in this scam. It's pretty apparent to me that Lightyear sends out these "bills" to anyone whose name they get hold of hoping you will pay the bill. I have no doubt if you're stupid enough to pay the first bill they will bill you again the next month for more money and set up a recurring bill. I've notified the KS Attornet General's office of the scam and suggest anyone else who has dealings with these shysters does the same. In the end Lightyear "corrected" my bill and I am not out any money but I felt strongly enough about this to file a complaint. It really burns me that companies like this try to pull these scams.
