About 1 month ago, I hired McEvers Lawn care to do my lawn care on a weekly basis. From day one, it has been a very high maintenance situation. The first visit, they half way did the job and left, citing they had other jobs to get to. The clean up thereafter was not good, so I mentioned it to the Owner Doug McEvers who got upset and was very thin skinned about me expressing my concerns. I finally let them go because I did not have time for the babysitting them, or them not showing up on the designated days. The owner Doug McEvers sent me insulting texts and left insulting voice messages, rambling on about how difficult I was, etc. I cannot recommend using this company.

I have used McEvers Lawn Care for several years now. The bottom line for me is that my yard looks great. I'm not inflexable regarding which day of the week the service gets done, all that matters is that Doug consistently makes sure that the work is done and done well. Initial clean-ups can be time consuming, so I'm not surprised to hear that yours could not be completed on the first visit. Prideful people make the effort to do things right, which can require some patience on the part of the person they are working for. There are always two sides to every story and somewhere between them both lies the truth. Perhaps you're one of those people that like their toilet paper folded in a triangle after every use, and I wish you luck finding someone who matches your requirements. Posting insulting and accusatory comments on the internet is kind of a cowardly way to vent...wouldn't you agree?? Just sayin', that's all.

I would recommend using McEvers Lawn Care if you are genuinely looking for a reliable company and an owner who takes pride in his business.
