Mico Designs Ltd Cannot supply parts for their products Chicago, Illinois |

I have tried for almost a year to get parts for my Mico Designs Seashore 7705-SN Kitchen Faucet and spout. I've talked to a representative named MIKE several times and sent pictures of the faucet. I purchased the Seashore 4 hole set, $900.00 from The Expo Design Center which has since closed, and Mike said he would see to it that I got the parts. If the parts were broken I would have had to replace the intire faucet assembly. The finish is damaged and looks bad. It did not hold up under normal use. Before you purchase a Mico Design products just consider you be able to get parts! BUY AMERICAN! |

We too purchased MICO kitchen faucet from Home Expo for about $600.00. We've been dealing with "Mike" who is extremely unprofessional. I researched their lifetime warranty which is effective as long as you are the original owner. The trigger on the sprayer broke so know when we run water from the main faucett, it leaks. I've written a letter to the president and reported them to the BBB. We've never had issues with MOEN and
costs less!!! |

I purchased this product at Expo too. I have had 4 warranty claims on the faucet since the orginial purchase and one on the soap dispenser. The tube on the pump on the soap dispenser just broke again. When I called for a new tube I was told it was not under warranty and since we bought it at Expo we were out of luck. In the past, I just called the Mico number in Chicago and they sent me parts -- no questions asked. Bad product and bad customer service |

I totally agree with the other posters. Mico does not stand up to support their warranty. We had a clear manufacturing defect that interfered with the function of the faucet. It took several months before Mike accepted a return. Instead of replacing the faucet they sent us back a repaired one, which now has deep scratches on the finish. Mike since then has left and we had to explain everything again. The new customer reps blame us having caused the scratches and refuse to take the faucet back. We even contacted their president Michael Isaac. He too refuses to accept any responsibility and told us to talk to the Distributor. Never will buy a Mico product again. They have an 'F' rating with BBB. |

Same story here. Have a leaking Seashore 7705-SN we bought originally during a new kithcen install. That distributor is out of business. We provided the builder's reciept, our warranty registration (lifetime warranty), had our plumber call and got no where. They obviously are not aware of the ease of online communications or the importance of customer service. They said the seals would cost $75 to repair. Afraid that it would be wasted money imagining the parts would probably not fit or work and they wouldn't honor return of those.
