Mike Luckman/MCL Communications Took money for PR and did NOTHING New York, New York

Mike Luckman, a publicist who works in the UFO community, got $1,200 from me after pitching me hard, insisting he would get audiences for my filmâ€™s week-long run at the Quad Cinema, in New York, in April of 2011. The film is . Fyi, it got an excellent : Mike Luckman did absolutely nothing. Not a press release written, not a phone call made, not even any responses to suggestions for things he might do, and no emails from him at all for a few weeks before and all during the filmâ€™s run. There were no weekly reports and he made no coordination with the publicist supplied by the Quad, although these were my conditions of employment. He not only didnâ€™t report to the Quad publicist, he didnâ€™t respond to her emails. It's not that he tried things that didnâ€™t get results; he didnâ€™t try anything. He refuses to give me my money back, and, unbelievably, threatens legal action if I expose him. I circulated this information among some people in the UFO community and no one defended him, while many people had their own negative reports about him.
