Mike Thompson RV service gives excellent lip service, they promise top quality work, Dont believe a word of it, I purchased a new travel trailer from Mike Thompson sales lot and the trailer was not on the lot at the time of purchase for me to inspect, when it finally came in it looked as if it was a used trailer, very dirty and unkept, I was promised it would be spic and span when I took delivery, that never happened, It went home dirty to my embarassment. I was told to bring it back to the service dept. and they would do a complete detail job on it, I left it there for 8 days, when I went to pick it up it had not even been rinsed off much less detailed. when they wrote the work order for the detailing I noticed there had been a lot of previous repairs noted back in November of 2010, and one of the repairs was a roof repair? (The trailer is registered as a 2011) so it sat for a long time before it was sold, and as anyone knows if they ever had a trailer with a rubber roof, those roofs require a lot of attention to keep them in good cond, and the warranty says treat every 4 months or warranty could be void, I got on a ladder and checked the roof and to my dismay it was cracked and had been poorly patched up already, I called the service dept and was told to bring the trailer back and they would make it "right" when I picked it up and took it home I got out a ladder and climbed up to see what they had done and couldnt believe my eyes, It looked worse than before, very amateur looking patch job. and there were greasy foorprints all over the roof that the workers left and never bothered to even clean up, A total lack of respect and professionalism exists there. they just dont care and it shows, Avoid this place at all costs, I wish I had never gone there. I am going to take the trailer to someone who cares at Camping world to finally get it done right!
