I was looking for help at the clinic, the mental health clinic, and i called a few times the
crisis hotline at the hospital, and one of the women i spoke with told me it would cost me
$1500 to talk to a so called depression screener, and that right there was too much money to talk to some one and not even getting help for what i wanted to get help for. this is not too much a scam report as to how they treat people down there in the hospital. i spoke to two women one named jenna and the only named wendy. i went to speak with them in person, and the wendy women was looking at me like she was better than me and she did not say one word to me at all she just stared at me the whole time. you know they look down on me and all people cause they figure if your calling a crisis hotline you must be sick in many ways and they treat you like your below them. the money they charge you is way too much and if they want you to take charity care than that really is bad they look at you like your some loser. no one gives me a call back and they just dont seem to care about any one at the place. they just treat you like your a number a client for them they are doing their Job talking to you but they dont care at all about me. they act like their my friends and they are not. they are not a good hospital. they ignore people and they want a lot of money for so called help. and one time i missed my appointment i wanted a new one and the lady told me the only thing she could do for me was to put me in the mental hospital and i hate that idea you see they just want to put you away and treat you like some 5 year old. who wants to admit their poor and have these so called doctors look at you like your some idiot. if some one wants help you dont treat them the way they do. these people have like nice cars and a good job and they are talking to these people that are without Job and it makes me so mad at them. i dont like to be treated like that before they know me. i hope others will take note and just know that people dont care about them at all they only either want your money or they want to make you feel awful inside where you have no self esteem left and are broken inside. they did not scam me per say but they took away my dignity and made me feel awful. $1500 to talk to some one is like being money raped i feel. i know its a hospital and such but thats way too much for any one and in these days when people have no money or a job.
