Car overheating..had thermostat replaced...car over heating...replaced water pump.. drove down the road and overheated..they installed defective water pump..they replaced...still ran hot but not as bad...close to overheating....1 month later sensor light comes on..and guess what...over heating...bring to a different mechanic since we moved away from NJ...he noticed that the accelerator sensor that sets the throttle and controls the fan had cuts in the wires that control it........hmm...guess while i'm in Afghanistan this is best way to get repeat business i guess... Just my opinion, but if you do work on a car and damage wires to the parts your fixing..replace them at your cost..don’t try to cover up.. Our new Independant Mechanic said that wires from Chevy don’t come spliced where they were spliced..luckily wife got a referal of an honest mechanic..
