Multiview
Multiview I was an employee at Multiview, I could not handle scamming customers anymore irving, Texas
10th of Jun, 2011 by User533717
I was freshly out of college and the job market was not great. I saw an ad for a sales person at Multiview. I had done several internships in the online media space during summers at college. Multiview uses Beer and young people to recruit folks to work there. Seemed really cool until I actually started work. It doesn't take you 5 minutes to realize the whole company it a total scam. Management and all the employees know 100000% percent they are selling garbage and employees even joke around about how people are buying ads that nobody in the world will ever see. At first I convinced myself it was okay, after a few months I just could not handle it. I had many customers call and complain as well as email, they were furious to say the least. They bought ads expecting traffic, sales etc and they were seeing nothing. I'm sitting in the office one day and looking at all these young workers, some of which are former washed up college athletes ( why a company would want athletes to sell ads is beyond me, these people are dumb as rocks)...and I'm saying to myself that we are all stealing money from people everyday we come to work. White collar criminals fill the office. At that point I mentioned to someone above me that I was really uncomfortable charging people for these "ads" that I knew would never be seen. The people we were scamming were mostly all small business owners who really cannot afford to just throw money away. If you are reading this as someone looking for info about working at Multiview, do not do it! you can do so much better, you will sleep terribly at night knowing you have stolen from harmless people just trying to make a living. If you are reading this a a customer of Multiview all I can do is apologize , I got out of there thankfully. It is a terrible company and everyone there knows the drill, scam people that do not understand the online market.
