I decided to open a dollar store, so I met up with this guy through his website www.mydiscountbiz.com. He seemed to be an honest guy and knew what he was talking about. So, I signed a contract with him, for him to go out and purchase the inventory and fill up the missing slots in my shop. Everything he said was a lie! He said that his fee would only be $200 and I would not be paying more than .65 to .70 for each item. Additionally he promised me that any items that I did not want, he would take back and give me cash for the items. I would also receive all of the original invoices from him directly. I felt it was a good deal, it would save me time and allow me to focus more on the build out of the store.
I received the merchandise and I felt that something was wrong. I gave him $21,000 of my hard earned money to get me my merchandise. I had an auditor come in and count every piece of merchandise. I found out that there was only $10,000 worth of merchandise. I called him and complained, but I didn't get any replies back. He gave me a "mock-up" version of all of the merchandise inventory he bought after I got a hold of him. He said, "I will take care of it", and disappeared. I have been calling him and emailing him. Cause when I looked at all of the merchandise invoice, it had his company name on it. I didn't receive a single one of the original invoices as promised and I paid .85/unit. So, he marked it all up and pocketed all of the $11,000.
Do NOT do business with this guy, he is a fraudulent person. I've never met someone who was such a big thief. I'm looking for a lawyer now to take him to court.
Additionally, this guy sets up dollar stores, discount stores, yogurt shops and smoke shops. He is a con-artist and will take your money with no concern for you!
