I had an unauthorized withdraw of $99.96 debit on my bank account on Dec. 3, 2010 and called my bank to find out more info on the withdraw on Dec. 5, 2010. My bank is sending me a form to sign and date for follow up into an investigation. I then contacted "Member Services" which is the contact company that oversees the transactions for National Platium. On my first attempt, I was asked for my phone number, address, e-mail address and the last four digits of my bank account number, I did not have my bank account at hand, and the representative hung up on me. My second attempt, I was angry because of how I was treated for one, but also because of a debit that I did not authorize. I had to call back repeatedly because the line was busy. After about my fifth attempt I got an answering service. They also hung up on me, I guess my angered tone didn't go over too well. My third attempt I got through to Member Services and I asked to speak with a manager, again the women was rude and asked me for all my personal information, I gave it all to her, she assured me she was a manager and told me the amount was un-refundable. At this point I got even more angry and was raising my voice, and demanded that the money be refunded to my account, but was told repeatedly the amount was un-refundable. She also hung up on me. I then called for a forth time, after I decided I needed to calm my anger. I spoke politely and asked please to have my money returned to my account, after the phone representative put me hold twice, I thought I might have a chance, but she once again returned to tell me I was unable for a refund. She was nice enough to listen to my plea, but after repeated info I tried to obtain from her, she could no longer help me. I will continue to follow this up with reports, phone calls and bank support.
