|Their sale was a major bust as no one was able to complete their purchase. A supposed few were able to order, but this could just be lies from them. Many people spent hours waiting and repeatedly trying to get their site to work, but it was either never up or never working. Their customer service reps didn't help or resolve the problems in any way. Their company refused to make any announcements to answer the consumers' questions, even though they did finally change the picture on their facebook site. If they had time to change the picture, they could have answered us. They also deleted consumers' posts on their wall even though they didn't resolve the issue. Their only solution to this problem is to offer us a deal that is no where as good as the deal they had offered but failed to deliver. This has all the signs of a scam in the process. They were baiting us with a deal too good to be true, which was non-existent. And after we had been hooked, they offer us a lousy deal knowing that many will jump on the lousy offer as a better-than-nothing mentality. Fail, NYX, major fail.
|I can vouch. Spent 24 hours trying to place an order, but it did not work. "Servers were down" and supposedly could not be fixed but once full price was back in place, you were able to refresh your cart and pay at full price. The site ran smooth as a whistle! Bait and switch scam if I've ever seen one.
|I spent 12 hours and got NOTHING!! )= I waited because they said to wait and now I feel lied to.
NYX Cosmetics advertised a 12-hour sale where the majority of their products would be $1.20. Conveniently, their servers went down at the beginning of the sale and stayed down for the duration. Very few people were able to purchase items at the sale price, resulting in thousands of unhappy customers.
To satiate these unhappy customers, NYX Cosmetics promised a coupon for 50% off, good for the remainder of the week. They offered their customers a WORSE sale, combined with terrible customer service.
• Servers went down exactly at the time the sale was supposed to start
• People were able to view other peoples CC # online
• The CSR’s have been hanging up on angry customers
• Facebook comment have been deleted
|They knew exactly what they wanted to do today. They used us and abused us. Their customer service reps were horrible. They lied and did what they could to get every1 off the phone ASAP, with no answers to resolve anything. Coupon Code... for $1.20 or I don't want it.
|Absolute scam. I waited for the above promised sale as well, and nothing. Only consolation is some stupid 50% off and free shipping which is NO consolation compared to the sale we were promised. Horrible business practices, horrible customer service. I hope they go down. I am thrilled to take my business and my money to a cosmetics company that isn't so sleezy.
|They have been deleting facebook comments, site went down the whole time the so called sale was going on and then magically started working once the sale was over. Horrible customer service I have never seem something handled so unprofessionally. Now they are saying to email them so we can get a 50% off coupon?! If they email ever individual how long do you think that will take? No one is going to get a coupon code. This is a scam.
|I was on the computer from 3pm till 6 the next day hoping they'd sort this mess out. they have lost thousands of customers. What a great way to kick off your 12 year anniversary...by running your company into the ground
|I too was waiting for 24hrs. Literally spending hours at a time to fill up my shopping cart. Theys stood by and watched people complain on there site with only 2 faint communications that pertained to fixing this hell for customers. No time frame or specific motion set in place to fix the problem. Even for the 50% off code, still 24 hrs later I have NOT received this code, nor has anyone else that ive heard of.
Their CSR are rude. Even hanging up on some.
After spending at least 5 hrs of the 24 hitting the refresh button and at least another 6 hrs just adding itemd in my cart, & then beung dtuck at checkout, the 50% off isnt enough the recitify the situation.
BWT, them beung able to change their profile pic in the middle of the situation really set me off! Its not your consumers problem to fix or ensure your company has the right IT team in place.
No one would be upset if you did the responsible thing. Shut down the site and postpone the sale until your problem was fixed. Anyone with any basic experience knows that the overload problem couldnt be fixed WHILE people were still trying to access the site.
