we purchased a palm harbor home in middle of april 2011. Ordered some upgrades with appliances and a few other things. We had the trailer put on our lot about june 30, 2011 but then had to spend 2 weeks in a motel waiting for them to get things hooked up, no fun with 2 dogs with us. They did pay for the first 3 days but we were on our own after that. We had thought that the skirting was covered in the set-up, found out nope, we were on our own there too. We keep calling to get things corrected in the trailer, we have the wrong stove, microwave and the fridge seems the right one. The microwave quit working less than a month after we got moved in, have called them repeatedly about that and the stove that is wrong model. Either they won't take our calls or leave messages that they never return. I feel at this time that they have taken all our money, since we had to pay cash before they would even bring the trailer down to us and taken us for a big ride. We still have no door in the master bath between the shower/stool area and the vanity like we ordered, wrong stove, a non working microwave, maybe even wrong dishwasher. I would not recommend palm harbors to ANYONE unless they want the headache we have right now. We are out over $80,000 between the trailer and all the upgrades we had done> Then paid even more to upgrade the Texas room and laundry room. Still have no lights working in our shed or outside light. We keep getting told they are working on it but somehow never get call backs after all our calls to them. They sure could not wait to get the money but we do not even have the title to the trailer. I feel we bought nothing with big bucks. Good luck with anyone working with them, we will never recommend them or go back to them again because of the poor service.
